cool concept, but i don't really like the look of the volcano. it looks too much like a funny hill with a nice round pit of lava in it than a fearsome mountain of fire. if they could get the volcano to be more jagged or give them the occasional river of lava it would be more impressive; but still, a volcano's a volcano. they're all cool.
on the topic of random v. richness, if i were to fight a battle in spot A, leave, comeback, and then fight another battle in spot A, would it have the same map?
So why are life and death magic mutually exclusive? I have always thought of them as being more of a continuum, not opposing forces. Perhaps this is so you can keep them seperate?

i actually think that this game would be prety good for some sort of "shared control" scheme. it could lead to interesting multiplayer senarios

Volt, if you look in the lore, it specifically says that the novalith round travels through phase space. i believe the actual source is cited earlier in this forum. as far as the shape goes, i imagine it has something to do with its operation. do you have any screenshots of a novalith round? i can't get ahold of one easily to try anaylizing the shape/function (wow. that really sounded geeky [e digicons]:S[/e] . oh well [e digicons]:thumbsup:[/e] ) <

i'm new to the whole mod downloading thing... so i have some questions. what do i do with the file after downloading it? do i have to do anything to the file beforehand? thanks for any answers.
It would be assumed that as they would be able to "kill" the Gravemind, that critical mass would have had already been achieved. If I start off by saying Gravemind & co. v. supcom, then it is reasonable to assume that critical mass has been achieved, as if it hadn't, they wouldn't be able to face the Gravemind.
You try burning it to the ground...and then realize that as you do so, the Flood have consumed major portions of the civilian population and are rapidly spreading across the planet like a cancerous mass. Only then do you realize that the Gravemind is an undying being, more conciousness than flesh, allowing for it to rise from the ashes of its body and claim dominion over your world.
