Seeing as these guys are demigods, maybe instead of standing on a raft, he kind of hovers over the ground with water splashing and crashing around his feet. I just can't see a raft drifting around Crucible. Quite a cool concept in general though.
I should have been more specific i suppose, but it's not just a plain wooden raft. Think more of a rich Egyptian nobles barge, inlaid with gold and ebony and ivory. The reason I decid
Oh and one last thing, don,t worry, he will not be "boring" on an artistic standpoint, he is supposed to look like a creepy tribal men with big yellow eyes, so he is not the typical righteous demigod that is an holy knight in armor or the evil fucking magic dude with dark spikes everywhere.
Thats exactly what I mean. Paint a picture and show us exactly how he'll stand out. As far as the similarity to UB, I admit I misread Enrage as increasing Atta

This is a really interesting Character, but what role is he meant to fill? What makes him unique from the other Demigods? I'll tell you the same thing I tell others. Think of a way to make him unique, cool, and fill a new role, THEN worry about balance. Artistically this character has a lot of possibility too. I'd like to see this expanded upon.

I like the concept and the story, but I can't help thinking that from an artistic standpoint he may end up a little boring. Additionally, his skills seem to be sort of an amalgam of Unclean Beasts and Erebus'. I think what you need to do is find a way to make him completely unique, and fill a role that other demigods don't. Don't worry about overpowered/Underpowered at first. Balancing comes later. But you want to make him very cool and unique, or people won;t want to play him. (This

I LIKE this idea. A lot. Especially his increased interaction with his minions. Some more skills to round out his set and he would be viable and unique.

Alright, good idea. I have 6. 1. The Betrayer. General. The Lord of Betrayal, specializes in converting enemy troops to his cause, and then using them as fuel for his abilities. http://forums.demigodthegame.com/350322 2. The Storm Kahn. Assassin. A noble, savage Gryphon Queen with powers over Storm and Thunder. Able to fly over gaps in the maps and enter battle with hard hitting, pow

Demigod: Harratep (General) Summary: A support Demigod, Harratep vastly increases allied mana regeneration, instead of healing. With the ability to get rid of nasty effects like the Torchbearers ice debuffs and the Unclean Beast's savage DoTs, he can keep an ally in the battle nearly as well as Sedna. What he lacks in healing, however, he more than makes up for in the ability to allow his t
Very cool idea, and EXCELLENT fluff--would read again. I like the idea of a fast, maneuverable character, and while most of the abilities seem balanced, I should only warn you that fast AND high damage is a dangerous combination. Movement speed is a crucial aspect of the game, and often times battles between Demigods come down to whether or not a player can flee in time. Also, a dumb question: the Storm Kahn can still au

Demigod: Storm Khan (Assassin) Summary: The Storm Kahn is a massive, majestic Gryphon, a sort of thematic counter, a light beast Demigod to counter the Unclean Beast. She is much more mobile than any other Demigod, with the ability to fly over obstacles that other characters cannot. This allows her to engage quickly, as well as make her way behind ene
When I hear the name Betrayer I think of a Demigod that can suck the mana/health of a fellow Demigod, ala the Rook's ability to suck the health out of his own team's towers. That would add an interesting mechanic to the game, I think. When you see a Betrayer on your team and he's being chased by an enemy Demigod, do you help him or run away? ... Now that I think about it, this may be open to abuse. Bar

Sounds to me like their perfectly valid strategy worked as intended. But while they keep teleporting away, you can farm reinforcements for experience If you can lockyour own flags, spend the money on potions and get the experience advantage from staying on the field. In the end you'll have to pick a flag, wait out the lock, and beat them before you can take it. Hopefully you'll have enough of a level advantage when you do this.

To make this work with Pantheon, they could randomly assign the neutral heroes from Tournament to Tournament. So if there were 4 Neutral Demigods, 2 would be assigned to each side. When the Pantheon is over, and a new one starts, they'd be shuffled. I think my Demigod idea, The Betrayer, would work perfectly for this.

Hey all, this is my first new Demigod idea. Apologies for the long story, but I like writing them. It's sort of a watered down version of a character in a story I'm writing, changed enough so that if by some freak decision the Devs use this, there will be no copyright issues :P The writing's not up to par with my usual stuff, so be nice. The Betrayer (General)

So a problem I've run across is the difficulty in balancing citadel upgrades and purchasing items. Another facet of it is that Demigod kills lead to large gold bonuses, which lead to lots of gold, which leads to uber items and more kills. It's a snowball effect. My suggestion is this. Instead of awarding Demigod kills with gold, award them with a new currency, lets call it Faith (Your followers seeing you vanquish another demigod strengthens their faith in you?) that is used exclusive

Ok, so I've finally stopped the incessant crashing, but using the DemigodStub.exe means I can't play online. After playing a lot of Tournament on Hard difficulty, it's become glaringly apparent that the enemy AI is far superior to the allied AI. The enemy will use teamwork, skill up in ways that are complementary, stick together, use items, etc. On the other hand, allied AI is haphazard. They skill less effectively, target enemy Demigod groups when they should be going for Fortresses or flags

I'm still crashing constantly too, it's gotten to the point where I can't finish a game. I've already posted my logs in other threds, but I'll keep this one bumped.
