If I manage to tame a tribe of ogres or trolls, I want to use them as mounts. I'd give them a backpack with an archer in it.
Froggie, I still think that these cities are way too close to eachother. The 4 tile rule should be changed to 6-7 tiles imo.
Perhaps a tech which can then reduce the distance between cities in the upper levels of the civilization tree. Either that or have the distance between cities scale based on the size of the map
Don't think anyone's in the office yet anyway.
Yes I intend to test under Beta 2 - Doombringer90
IIRC, because each race has its own tech tree, there are no "pre-packaged" ships anymore, but you can have the computer design ships for you with a proportion of lasers, mass drivers, and missiles as well as their respective defences if you don't want to delve into the ship builder.
Also, Twilight has all three campaigns in it, but it needs both Dark Avatar and Vanilla to run.
The turn isn't over until the end turn button reappears after you click it, but that usually happens so fast that it appears as though the moves are taking place at the start of the next turn instead of the end of the last turn.
Yeah, I don't actually expect it to happen, but it's nice to dream. I personally don't care either way so...
I'm willing to bet you vastly underestimate the number of people who care about Basketball
Would it ever be likely that we would be able to log into I::R with a Steam account? I understand if it's not possible because it requires access to VALVe's servers to log in with them, or some sort of VALVe proprietary technology to implement it, but it is a large chunk of digtal purchasers that I'm sure developers would love to have access to without screwing the rest of us with our pants on.
I kinda like letting forts be able to gather nearby resources, they can provide a bonus to morale (assuming Morale is put in) as well as make the fort less dependant on being close enough to your territory that they won't be cut off from supplies. After all, nothing sucks worse than Fort 354 on the front between you and the guy you are warring no longer be able to produce Doomy Knights of Doom because the enemy looped around and cut off your supply line of Death Ore. I'd be fine
Shouldn't be, considering it's going to be used on Elemental.
And there was much rejoicing.
Yeah, Beta 2 is the next opening and that is scheduled to be released sometime within the next month.
Their scouts have already shown up, the evil bloodthirsty Space Stallions are chasing the Vasari and are softening up the TEC and Advent with the Space Ponies.
Kryo beat me to it...
Incendiary Rounds These just don't do that much. They don't stack with themselves, so 3 dps is pretty well negligible. It's like getting one quarter of a LRM added to your fleet. Even maxed out, what's 6 dps gunna do? Even over the course of an absurdly long 2 minute shootout, that's fricken 72 damage. In late game fleet battles where we're tossing around THOUSANDS of damage every second, that doesn't e
Usually update on thursdays, but I'm fairly sure they are gearing up for the beta2 release later this month, so there might not be an update for a while.
from the announcement at the top of all the forums
After some unpleasantness with a database array on Monday, March 8th, we’ve had to restore the forum posts to a backup made at 8am EST that morning. There was some corruption of data early that afternoon and it was safest to go back to a known good point. Unfortunately, this means any posts and replies from 8am Monday to a bit before 4pm Tuesday have been lost.
calling in sick to work to go to a baseball/football/sporting event of your choice and getting caught and fired
hello and thank you for your reply and yes that's what it seems like I agree, but it's not practical and it's punishing the customers who bought the game. Lets face it, there is no 100% fool proof copy protection. This system will not prevent the pirates, they will simply get a working email and one registered game code and use it to take the patch, or worst get the patch and rig it so it can be distributed out with a hack full of viruses. This syste
Is it possible that you accidentally turned off "show pre-release/betas" option?
It's so they can make sure that everyone is testing the same version and not bringing up errors from 2 betas ago
And this is the reason I want to see contributions coming from an individual citizen as the only legal form of campaign donation.
