A few observations from the August update: The star needs the biggest gravity well, or are you leaving that out for some reason? The July update was a very good one for me. It feels like the game is on a roll with development now. More than just (awesome) sketches, it's got some meat on the bones. I'm still here. Proudly part of the 5%! Just waiting for more interactive bits... I am very glad to be a founder, especially on this game. However, it seems like being a founder has been pretty passive so far. I had a ton of ideas racing through my head for aliens, ships, systems, UI, and more, but basically everything I've seen so far has already been worked on for weeks or months by SD, so I'm not really sure what my role is here. <p
I agree with the OP entirely, but I'm glad Vaelzad has first hand experience and gave some reasurance. I'm interested to try it out, but I hope it's not a long/time consuming process each time one lands.

Mukay ship looks great! Weapon B looks the best to me. I dig the weapon effect and colors - the go so well with the ship. The purple planet landing picture reminds me of Funkatron from Toejam & Earl. Not saying it's good or bad, just reminiscent. Thank you for stating that the player ship will be highly customizable. I don't like some of the art pieces (spinning cores and such) but I love many others

Hi all! For the commander sketches, please ditch A, E, and G. Commanding a space ship and going out for a morning jog should call for two different outfits. :) H, B, and D in that order are my favorite sketches! I like the female face...and I don't mind the gray hair. I started going gray at age 15, and now at 32, I'm about 40+% gray (thanks kids!). It endears me to the character.
