One thing I've noticed about the AI in the game summaries is how much money and resources they stockpile. In the late game I tend to have a lot of stuff but the AI get tons of resources and money fast...and never spends it. ;p
ScourgeOfGod
That's how he got so good at Sins, everytime he did something wrong Stardock zaps him. The movtivation to kick ass gets pretty high under those circumstances.
Finding a minor civ would be kind of cool but also something for an expansion/Sins 2.
To handle any confusion, Naruto was the ninja who saw the novaliths and I heard about them through intellegence reports (several of your crewmen were traitors Tesla...I bribed them with chuzzles). Ninjas can see cloaked ships because the inventors of cloaking technology couldn't replicate the one cloaking system which ninjas can't see, ninja cloaking. The ninja cloaking technology was patented by the ninjas and you do NOT screw with a patent held by ninjas. Thus your ships were visible to Naruto
I voted for 4x because as of right now the RTS part is pretty solid in my opinion. I see this as kind of a balancing act where earlier RTS might not have been developed enough, and now the penedulum has swung the other way. My guess is that the stuff currently in the pipeline will help a lot with many of the weaknesses in the current 4x part of the game. In the end, Sins will never be a 100% 4x, but hopefully it will be more than 100% RTS too. :)
The TEC, Vasari, and Advent will be the only factions in the unmodded game yes. I suppose those with modding skills can and will add more (like in a Babylon 5 or Star Trek mod). I hope that answers your question. :)
Captain: Now there are two bodies stuck on the front viewing window. SoG: Ah but the one thing the Sergent didn't know, we really DO have wiper blades. *laughs hysterically while pushing a concealed button* *Wiper blades appear and push the Ensign and Sergent's bodies off* Captain: I think this war is making you evil sir. SoG: Captain, we're capitalists, that automatically makes us evil. Commander: But you're wearing a "Vive Che" t-shirt. SoG: Exactely,
I have to agree with Ron about not liking this idea. Allowing people to research frigs and cruisers allows them to not waste resources researching types of ships they never use (like I build good fighter compliments rather than Gardas). This would get rid of that element of strategic planning in research and would degrade "funness" in my opinion.
*Ensign screaming* SoG: ok, here's the...will someone shut him up? Sergent: Yes sir! *fires phasor at Ensign...screaming stops* SoG: I was actually hoping for a tranquilizer... Sergent: Oh, uhhhh...I'll clean this up sir. *throws Ensign's corpse out the air lock* SoG: Good. Now as I was saying, since Naruto is a ninja, he can sneak aboard the enemy mobile novaliths. Captain: That's all well and good sir but what does this have to do with t
Have you ever heard Carlos Mencia or Dave Chapel? They are popular and funny, yet they make fun about race all the time. Its not that people don't have to be committed to religion to allow this, only that they are more willing to laugh at themselves. For instance, I firmly believe in my political views, but I laugh at good political cartoons against leftists and rightists and those in the center (though there are few of the last one that I've found).
Personally, I think people ought to lighten up about making fun of religions. Things like riots in the Middle East because a Dane parodied Muhammed are stupid. Fine, you don't have to like it, but that's what freedom of speech is for. I don't mind if you parody Islam, Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism, atheism, or any religion. Its your right and no one ought to try and take that away from you.
Has anyone else had a game where your culture begins expanding in a system where you don't own any planets? This happened to me once I own three out of the five system and my fleet moved in and destroyed a couple of enemy planets, but I hadn't colonized or built any broadcast centers and my culture began expanding from the star. Is that supposed to happen or is it a bug? (If you ask, I'll try to find the replay).
SoG: Has Chuck Norris been called up yet captain? Captain: Uhhhh, sir...Chuck Norris died like 2000 years ago around 2060. SoG: Hmmm,I suppose then we have to go to plan R. Captain: I thought our plans only went Z through Q. Ensign: They did sir, I'm betting he's just making it up. SoG: SILENCE! *slaps the ensign on the wrist...with a lightsaber* Ensign: OH GOD! MY HAND! *Ensign begins screaming* SoG: Ok, I suppose our only recourse is to t
Luckly for me, Chuck Norris doesn't believe in the law of physics...or evolution...
Actually Schod I can use some of my hot air as a jet to push me back to the ship. Besides...you can't light me on fire in space, there's no oxygen to fuel it ergo, my original series of events (where I choke you) wins. Besides, I wasn't trying to save TGE. *rips off disguise* I'm Chuck Norris bitch. *roundhouse kicks TGE in the face*
SoG: Well at least Schod with his damn LRMs is dead...now I can focus on extending my trade network to Corascant and rebuilding the fleet! Captain: Sir, bad news! the Big Daddys have liberated the Little Sisters in the Novalith! SoG: What? How could they handle the cuteness factor of the chuzzles? Captain: They do wear suits sir. SoG: Clever move Big Daddys, clever move. We'll have to go to plan Q. Captain: Very well...we'll call in Chuck Norris... [I][size="6"]TO BE
HAHAHA! Foolish Schod...I have on trait of extremists: I'm full of hot air and thus can survive for hours in the vacuum of space! *breaks into the ships and chokes Schod*
OOOH SNAP! CATFIGHT! *takes over Corascant while Schod and TGE are fighting* Captain: Sir there is 1 million credits and 500,000 metal and crystal in the remains of the planet. SoG: Exxxccellent. *gets a bunch of 3-Dunov fleets and conquers the galaxy*
Technically you could pirate it...but that would be illegal and I'd have to shun you to death (warning: lack of ScourgeOfGod exposure leads to cancer and death).
Well...I'm TEC and thus a coporate pirate! Avast ye Mom and Pop shop! I will buy you out and replace you with a Walmart! HAHAHAHA!
Oh really? Who was more effective, Martin Luther King Jr. or Malcolm X? MLK was definitely more moderate than Malcolm X and guess who acheived more.
*Destroys Schem and TGE with his politically-moderate anti-matter bomb* Moderation...It works bitches.
SoG: Well things have really gone to shit haven't they captain? Captain: Indeed...but on the upside our amazing trading ability has given us the ability to buy a new fleet! SoG: Excellent now we can conquer the errr...asteroid Corascant...you did remember to get an Akkan right? Captain: Of course sir! Commander: Ummm sirs...we still have the ninjas on the Novalith problem. SoG: Ah yes nearly forgot...INTIATE CHUZZLE FLOODING! *chuzzles falls out of all the air ducts
*TGE's ships begin randomly blowing up* TGE: WHAT IS HAPPENING? *force chokes officer #343* Officer #343: I...don't...know...*dies* *Two phases jumps away* ScourgeOfGod: Good job getting that Novalith Cannon done men! Captain #1: Indeed...unfortunately sir we could only afford this by scrapping our entire fleet. SOG: Well, that could be bad...Diplomat! Send an alliance request to Schem immediately! And to the ninjas!
Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Dailan, Canton, and other coastal cities are the heart of China's economic power. The rural areas are mainly agricultural and a major gap has risen between the wealth of the coastal and inland areas. As to the dam, China will just fill in the holes with peasant bodies. That'll help their overpopulation problems.
