Well Karma, I actually don't dislike the french. Normally I only make fun of my friends 'cause I think they are less likely of misunderstanding me. That being said, the eifel tower during the day time is still ugly as piss.

True Karmashock, many of our laws don't quite match our society. *RANT WARNING* For instance, why the hell do we have the highest drinking age of any country on Earth? 18 year olds can die for their country, sign contracts, vote, smoke, have legal consentual sex, run for public office (though not at the national level), and be prosecuted as an adult. In every other way, 18 year olds in America are considered adults. So why do you have to wait until you're 21 to drink alcohol? That is just plain

Ok, I haven't responded for a little while (been to busy), but now I have a few things to say. First of all, we do not afford the mentally retarded equal rights. Sure in theory a mentally retarded person has the same rights as anyone else. In practice, they require constant supervision throughout their lives, they cannot hold any but the most menial of jobs (if that), they cannot even have the same classes in public school as "normal" kids (if that occurs because of race it is called segregratio

If we could build an organism from "scratch". Like, assemble an amoeba from the ground up using mollecules, atoms, and particles as our playthings, then sure, that would be quite literaly a genunine, bonafied, Artifical Intelligence. Actually, that would be creating a bonafied artificial life form not neccessarily an artificial intelligence as that would assume amoebas have conciousness. Lets consider a painter

Karamashock, The creator actually owes more to the created in my opinion. A parent has the responsibility to teach the child how to live in the society that child lives in. Why? The kid didn't ask or demand to be created. The parent, for their more or less selfish reasons of self-fulfilment and personal happiness, brought that child into existance. Because the reasons for bringing the child into existance are basically selfish, the parent must balance this out by making the life of the

My fav books are the Honor Harrington series by David Weber. Lots of starships fighting, domestic and interstellar politics, moral dilemnas, complex cultures and societies, and aliens which look like cat/monkey half-breeds. As for fav movie, its a toss up between V for Vendetta (viva la revolution!), and Monty Python and the Holy Grail (HELP HELP!! I'm being repressed!).

My primary reason to feeling the need to remind people of our heritege is that instinctually we are still very similar to monkeys in our emotional and base drives. And isn't out genetic code somewhere around 99.9% identical? 98% identical to Chimps actu
