I had tried to sign up for this, and even posted on the forums after running into difficulties signing up. Unfortunately, I did not receive a response. I would have loved a chance to win that signed copy.

I think dev chats are a good idea always both before and after a game launch. I plan on talking with Frogboy about some of my ideas in the near future, so if Kryo or the others at SD don't beat me to it I will definitely mention this.

I have seen very clear writing on the wall in the past that a game was lost, only to stick with it to win. I'm more of the fight until the end type of player, although since Demigod is a team game I always do consider concede requests.

If it was out of your control, it's not a big deal and it was definitely nice of you to apologize. It's a bit of a toss-up if those players take part in the forums though. The best way to get in touch with someone directly is with the Impulse friends overlay which you can access via shift-tab. Once you add someone, you can send them private messages.

Excellent news, I'm really looking forward to this release! The new AI settings should be really interesting, and replay support is a welcome surprise for sure. The icing on the cake would definitely be the new Demigods though. :)

Chris was one of the first devs I met face to face, and I have to say he's a very cool memorable guy. I have yet to meet Brad in person, but his dedication to his products and communities has really earned my respect.

Congrats, and I'm glad to hear that you were able to help teach your allies instead of going off on them. I think one thing that everyone should make an effort to do is offer *friendly* advice (as much as you're able to, even if frustrated). All too often I see more rage inspired behavior towards feeding allies and the such, instead of direction.

Looks and sounds great, I'm really looking forward to checking this out. In terms of "future tech 1" type techs, I never did like those in Civilization IV. I would have rather had the tech tree just end, but that is my own personal preference.

I'm also on the receiving end of mismatches most of the time in RTS as well, and I usually do not do consistent arranged teams. I honestly do prefer random more than arranged team in games that support either method, as there tends to be a wider variety of players to play with / against and less wait time. I think one key thing that any serious RTS player should do is try to help others via instruction assuming they're willing to accept it. I don't mean "run away you f'in

ZehDon- I definitely agree on only using escape or longer term critical consumables after a stun. When I play torchbearer sometimes I will initiate using a less critical item with a cast delay in order to get an opponent who I am going to lose against to pop their stun. I then immediately move on to the item which I had intended to use, if needed. This works very well for capture locks on portals especially, and teleports to the crystal when actually being able to run away f

I do plan on expanding on this, so I can see about doing a breakdown on items / consumables. It will take some time though, this is more of a work in progress that anyone else is free to add to. I respect your opinion on the stacking rules, however I had to put that in there after being kicked out of games over simply wanting to play a race that I was most comfortable with when another player was using the same. Just yesterday I had one host go off on me, statin

I figured I'd put something together after all of the games I've played with people of all skill levels. Essentially what this is is a guide on how to survive, be a team player, and get the most out of the game. Communication and Coordination... Communication is key when playing against tough opponents, and by communicating your efforts can also be coordinated. It is all too easy to spot a team that is failing to communicate (e.g. a

Blue, considering the amount of games you've played and the hours you've gotten out of this, receiving a refund would be really taking advantage of the company. I've played games which were much more buggy over the years, and never had an option to get a refund. Demigod has come a long way, and is a much more solid product now.

I was in that game, he just parked at the crystal and left us to ourselves. Definitely a bummer, no clue why he even joined in the first place.

There's something called Craigslist Missed Connections for this sort of thing- the Demigod forums are not the place.

Not yet kewlguy, still waiting to hear back. Thanks for the compliment DrFappo, you played well and it was definitely a good game until your connection died. Then we were stuck bashing AIs. :)

Ok game is done, there were between 8-12 people watching at any given time. Hope you guys liked it. I will be drawing the coupon winner shortly, remember it's only good for tonight though! Edit: Ok, I assigned a number to each person that showed interest in the code, and used a random number generator to choose. CommanderAdama won, assuming the "I'm interested" post meant the code. Commander, please confirm and I will PM you the code. If you are not inter
