I'm hearing today, from my black friends, that Romney is out of touch with Americans. Really? My reply: What exactly in BOs background makes him relate better? You know, I don't even care that they're voting for him because he's black. It's just the flimsy excuses to try and cover the real m

It has to be a full-on assault all the way to election day, even though it's quite clear, even to many of his supporters now, that this emperor has no wardrobe.[/quote] In reality, anyt

I don't have stars in my eyes when it comes to Mitt Romney. I believe he will move left once elected. And I'm actually ok with that on just about everything, for cooperations sake, but spending. At the end of the day, Romney wants America to be a great country. That's far more than I can say for Barry.

I don’t know what you saw last night, or even if you watched, but I saw Mitt Romney bring his A game to a debate. The president however, seemed discombobulated. I predict the president will get ugly over the course of the next two debates. Since he can’t run on his record, he will resort to personal attacks, innuendo, and repeating lies. I don’t think the debates matter to Obama-bots. Those peo

Thanks Doc! This is part of a story I'm working on..... right now it is the first chapter I cut...thinking it might start the next leg of the story in the second book. (Yeah I already have that much! lol) Most of the 1st book is all the things that happened to get her right here. I may still work it

I’m writing again, after a two year break. It’s rough, like starting over. Ugh. But, I’m well into a tale of death, revenge, and redemption. This chapter is a work-in-progress. Posting it here helps keep me motivated. ------------------------------------------------------------ Arnica slipped the black 9

Kind of like a babysitter/fixer-of-all-things-messy/ go-between for the 500 enlisted troops and the top three officers. When I left the Philippines as a young E-4, one of the top three officers in my squadron didn't like me. As a matter of fact, he had a dry erase board on the back of his o

Good link D. So true. At least half of the people, no make that 75% of the people I personally know voting for BO, do it for personal financial reasons (check or gov. job). I get it. Guess it's human nature. But I always kinda hoped my fellow Americans believed our country's well being, as a whole, outweighed personal gain. <

A lot of my friends love Obama. I don't hold it against them :) We just try not to talk politics too often. Every time I hear the news reporting "unrest over the anti-Muslim video," I throw up a little bit in my mouth.

Reading and following this story...mostly with sources outside the US. So sad our journalists today forget how to execute investigative reporting. Though I quote CNN here, England has the best coverage to date. So far I believe this was a coordinated plan. The brilliance of it? A lot of those protesters BELIEVE it is about the film. <span style="font-size: small;

The summer between 8 th and 9 th grade I lived at the municipal swimming pool. One day, some friends and I sat outside the pool on picnic tables. The pool just opened so there were adults outside waiting in line with their kids. A red Camaro, music blasting, loaded with soon-to-be seniors crawled by. Once, twice, three times. It wasn’t until all the adults were inside that the Camaro s
