It's amazing to me how fast things change. From your generation to mine, the mail-in thing just kinda disappeared. Or maybe I was never aware of it? Anyway, great story as usual. You should assemble all these into a manuscript.

Four more years of this? Seriously, even if Romney can't do anything about the economy, just a change in command will garner more confidence. BO's face will forever be linked with debt and death.
Who the heck is Candy Crowley? Why can't the moderators just let the candidates debate? Obama could have said that he said it was a terrorist attack. He'd be lying, then, instead of the moderator. 3 minutes is a lot of time when you're talking, and that's how much extra time she gave Obama, as well. If you really believed in Obama's chances, you wouldn't need to cheat.
<span style="font-size: sm

Last night, I didn't hear anything unexpected between the two candidates. The news maker? Candy Crowley backing up the president during the debate, and then pulling a mea culpa after. But personally I wasn't shocked by that. I think Americans should expect it. She said before millions BO was right, Romney wrong. Then AFTER the debate said she erred. Oops. </p

Polls. The reason I don't put stock in them.... We have caller ID. We don't answer the phone when pollsters call. In fact, we don't answer ANY political calls. How do we filter them out? If we don't recognize the #, we let the machine pick up. Why? <span style="font-si

Oh, and the abortion question. Really? What a set up. Ryan shoulda said, "Our economy is in the crapper. Our citizens are being murdered by terrorists while the Commander and Chief plays with the rich and famous. And you want to talk about abortion? Really?"
On the VP Debate: I rated it a toss up (it will not affect the race). But Biden lost points with independents by being the bully. So I watched the VP debate last night. I think Paul Ryan did ok. Wish he would have been able to finish a thought without interruption. But, that's the nature of debates. Gotta fight sometimes to be heard. I think Biden presented the Dems worldview well. But all the smirking? It reminded me

An excerpt: Governor Romney has proposed a personal income tax reform that would lower marginal tax rates and broaden the tax base. Critics of the proposal have argued that high-income taxpayers would receive a tax cut, and given that the proposal is meant to be revenue neutral, this would inevitably lead to increased taxes for families with low and moderate incomes. Because the Romney proposal does not specify

BO is back on the campaign trail...talking smack. What a backbiter. He took his lumps at the debate when it was face to face, man to man, now... NOW when there is no one to fight, or contradict, he gets brave, and mouthy. I realized today BO isn't just incompetent. He's a coward . He's afraid
