Worked like a charm. I wonder what's going on.

What I will describe happens with several sites, including slashdot, JPMorgan Chase online, Google News, and GMail; and with at least two WindowBlinds skins, including Aura. What happens is that the page repeatedly scrolls up and down for the space of half a text line, I'm guessing five pixels. Do you suppose this is Ajax related?
Why am I not surprised that people who like changing the look of their windowing systems are also keen on tattoos?
It would be as big a target, and yet, it would not be hit so often.

I like that I can get the system tray and taskbar to be vertical now.
I attached to WinStyles.Exe in the .NET debugger, and learned that shortly after I click on the Internet Options button, the program tries to read address 0. Could it be that someone isn't checking his / her return values? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/burk.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle
When I click the Internet Options button, I get "Winstyles 1.00 has encountered a problem and needs to close." AppName: winstyles.exe, AppVer 1.0.0.1, ModName unknown, ModVer 0.0.0.0, offset: 00000000 Exception code 0xC0000005. It looks like the "You are not connected to the internet" string is in Memory Range 45, along with "Download File %d of %d..%d%% complete" and many other strings.
Any suggestions about what to fix when Winstyles reports "not connected to internet" ?
