There are numerous DesktopX objects that have what you're looking for. DX isn't a shell and in fact you could simply have that object up. DX also uses about the same same amount of RAM as sysmeter so it's a win win.

Think of it as being the skinning equivalent of the Internet Movie databse (www.imdb.com) which has the same rating system. It works pretty well. I won't go see a movie that gets less than a 6. Once the per section filtering is in, I will set it so that I don't see wallpaper that gets less than a 6 for me. Other users will be able to decide for themselves if they want to use it or not.

The peer ratings probably would work out pretty well, we'll try to put that higher up in the queue to implement. We have a basic on set but it does it for all sections. I want to see all the WB skins but I only want to see really good wallpapers (good being ones rated highly by respected people).

I like those sites -- they're great advertisements for WebBlinds. Those pop up ads and website hijacking make WebBlinds a must have (it blocks pop up ads and keeps sites from hijacking the browser and it's skinnable).

Yea. Plus it would be a good way to spread out the traffic. We don't measure the success of skinning based on this site's traffic, we base it on the combined traffic of all the skin sites. I've been visiting Skinbase quite a bit lately slowly uploading some of my stuff there. We have sections for virtually every remotely popular skinnable program. There are roughly 20 sections here already. DeviantArt doesn't have sections for every app either btw, Skinbase does.
