I cant get started on star control.

I ordered Star Control: Origins Lifetime Founders Edition early October.

I have some free time so figured I would download the melee beta. I am stumped on how I get this on my computer.

I did not order it form steam, all steam wants is for me to re purchase the product.

I sign in at stardock.com store and the download link doesn't work.

the error I get is "An error occured when attempting to download Star Control: Origins Lifetime Founders Edition.

Any suggestions?
