Sins 2 as in rebellion with something new or only rebellion with better programming?

i would be content with the same engine in a 64 bit engine..but they have a winner..why not go the extra mile..i mean the formula for the game is awesome..so they shouldnt f with it..just add more stuff, maybe the race hunting the vasari..on the oxide engine.

maybe the race hunting the vasari..

I think Vasari mystery should stay a mystery... its a lot more scary not knowing what is coming after them. as soon as you give it a face it loses potency (look what Star Trek did with the Borg and Borg Queen).

We dont even know that is is another race could be a natural phenomena or something Vasari created themselves.

More species, and more trees.

I very much want to see Sins 2 !!!
I do not think that we need a new race there, but there just need new weapons, new vehicles - big and small! Good optimization, new effects, new graphics, new maps and new capabilities for ships, star bases, etc. !
Perhaps even increased the diplomatic possibilities!

Whatever, what would not be SINS 2 - I hope and I wait for its output!:)

Please, take all my money, I will buy sins 2, I'm glad they're taking the time to get an engine etc to do it right though, love this company :)

Sins of a solar empire 2 on Oxide engine.... finally be rid of those pesky limitations... Imagine

I'm hoping for Sins-2, but whether that will ever happen is hard to say, at least within the next 5 years.  No one has heard anything from Ironclad for some time and it seems reasonable to guess that they're in the process of disbanding after their disastrous MOBA experiment.  My guess is that they're trying to sell the Sins IP and can't agree on a price with Stardock or other suitors.

I love Sins enough, I am wiling to buy Right Now, the Founders Elite Edition of SoSE 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8......

Sins 2 - That would be an easy decision for me.. :smitten:

I think they need to improve the maps first and foremost.  Better map generation, better resource balance in that generation, and adding some flashy new mechanics that both increase the depth of strategy and the games competitive edge in the modern market.

Sign me up, I'm in for Sins 2. Would love to know what the Vasari are running from. Course, I be so would everyone else.

Well i think if ironclad disbands then ownership would logically fall to it's partner stardock. If that happens please stardock keep supporting the game.

Ironclad and Stardock are listening. :)

I would hope they are at least a year into development, most planning done, not quite ready to announce anything.

I am sure Stardock does not want Sins 2 and StarControl to compete with each other, and since(my guess) SC is MUCH further along.......... we will see Sins 2 4th quarter of its 10th anniversary winter of 2018.

Fingers crossed.

I'll also say that bigger isn't always better.

I think the scale of Sins is about right, more meaningful small battles with strategy and frigates that level up would be great.

Titans are nice, but since their introduction race to build them has ruined the natural flow of Sins battle ramp up.
