Windows Blinds don´t work with Windows 8.1 update 1

Windowblinds has to reinstall every times you done the system overhaul/update. 

Metro context menus* (right mouse button) - missing. Without WindowBlinds 8.03 everything is OK.

* Windows 8.1 update 1 64bit

Yep... I tore my hair out with this one this morning.. I was convinced it had to be modernmix or launch8.. Windowsblinds definitely screws up the context menu's in Update 1.

Could you give examples of apps in which this happens?

As many as possible please.

Its on anny app no context menu

No matter what application is displayed in a rectangle in Metro UI. Context Menus* do not appear and the problem is exactly WindowBlinds 8.03.

It is exactly as Plamen72 is portraying it. If you try to resize, Pin, or unpin tiles in Metro the new context menu does not appear. I wouldn't have noticed but I had to stop using start8 after the last update because my taskbar kept corrupting to the point that I constantly needed to kill explorer to get any work done.

I am rather more concerned with your issue with Start8.  If you are having an issue with that please report it to support so we can investigate it.  Do you mean the 1.4 update to Start8?

Regarding the right click menus in the Win8 start menu, we have fixed this internally and when the update has passed QA we will be releasing it.

And when u will fix windows blinds 8? I mean today the upadete 1 is offiziel releaset and windwos blinds right context menue is not working

I am also having issues with WindowBlinds 8.03, since the update of either WindowBlinds or Start8, my taskbar keeps corrupting. I thought it was the AMD Display drivers update to 14.03, however, as soon as I change back to windows default skin, the task bar issues go away. by the way I have not installed the update 1 yet, waiting for the release tomorrow.

As noted in the post directly above yours, the update is going via QA testing and once it passesd that it will be released.

im having the same problem with the win 8.1 update 1 start screen context menu i cant unpin or put the metro apps large or small i cant do nothing is not showing

Temporarily use the default theme from WindowBlinds 8.03, then we will use context menus.

Just to report I have same issue with metro UI also.

Not using WB is driving me crazy as the white is so bright, please get this corrected ASAP, appreciated.

Maybe it's just me but I'd do without a context menu that Win8 didn't have anyway before the update before I'd do without WindowBlinds

maybe its you so i have paid for windows blindes so now iw will an update that works an windows 8.1 update 1 , no maybe do without the context menu. I will the context menu, its not new that the update commes. So when can i get the new version of blinds?

Windows 8.1 update 1 adds a new feature to metro apps. You can right click the app's icon (upper left corner when the app is open) and it will give you the option to split left or split right. When ModernMix is installed this opton is not available. Neil and or other team members could you please take a look at this problem too.
