Comments on skins

I went looking for the thread dealing with not being able to comment on skins but couldn't find it. Basically what is happening is something similar but this time the pages either fail to load or take a very long time loading, sometimes as long as fifteen to twenty minutes. The throbber continuously goes while the page is up, the emotes are gone and so are the buttons for quote, reply etc. I've had to hit the back button in order to get the throbber to stop and then, in a round about way get to the skin I want to comment on and even then it sometimes fails to post the comment.

This issue has been going on for a few days now. The last time it was Ghostery interfering. Uninstalling that solved the problem. the second time around it was last pass. Uninstalling that solved the problem. Now its happening again and the only thing I can think of is that it is either the Firefox update to 3.6.14 or another of the add-ons. I uninstalled AdBlock Plus, that didn't work. I did the same with NoScript and that didn't work either. This doesn't happen all the time though. Its more like a hit and miss. I'm used to long waiting times for a page to load but that is when I'm at the day room not anywhere else. Can someone please look into this as it is very not nice.

Fyi, Uvah, Bonjour is part of  Photoshops "Version cue":meow:   which lets you store and collaborate on line with other artists and authors. Sorta of like a file sharing app that lets you share and work on others projects.

Now you tell me. After I got rid of it. Might be for the better as PS is behaving itself now. lol

It only comes with the newer versions of Photoshop so if you have uninstalled the trial and gone back to PS7 you would have no need for it as "Version Cue" is not available in the PS7. FYI:inlove:

Thank you.

Bonjour also comes with iTunes. I wasn't aware of the Adobe connection. I don't think I have Version Cue installed, but I know I don't have Bonjour. I find Bonjour to be problematic, and it always runs in the background.

Then its a good thing I got rid of it. Running in the background with nothing to do has got to be boring. :P
