Last person to post wins, unless they are a moderator or admin.

Basically, this game is played so that the last person who post wins. What do they win? The ThreadKiller's Achievement; The honor of being the last person to post by virtue of the content of their post. However, moderators, admins, and anyone else who has the ability to lock the thread are disqualified from winning the ThreadKiller's Achievement, if they win by locking. If the thread is won by method of locking, the "winner" gains the Achievement Of Reprehensible Epic Lameness.

stant that was a court case in our high court here, and the dingo lost,
End of harpo99999's quote

I am aware of the details of the 1980 Lindy Chamberlain case.  (Well, not every detail, but enough to understand the progression of the trial.)  It was a case I reviewed for the international law potion of a class I took in high school.  Mostly because of the Seinfeld episode that sort of mentioned it.  Not all Americans are lazy dumb and ignorant of the world around them.  ;]

true, but it is fun to act that way and watch them explode

of course, then there's a question of whether or not such a court case really measures the ignorance of foreigners. If you asked me who the Australian Prime Minister is or what the Australian contribution was to WWII was, I think that might have some significance. A court case concerning a charge of murder versus wildlife running off with a kid (keep in mind a year before I was born) is probably not the most significant thing ever in Australian history. If it is, I can't help but think that perhaps the country has little significance to begin with. After all, I don't expect every American to even remember Lorena Bobbit, the flash in the pan that she was.

But that's just my opinion.

dude how could you not remember that's just...eew

Obviously I did remember, but I wouldn't expect... let's say harpo or tesb to remember. I'm sure they get our news, but maybe not the quantity we do of the lesser stories. I'm sure there are a number of Americans on this board that probably ignore the news when such mediocre stuff comes on. I certainly know little about popular music these days, much less keep track of every child found dead that makes it onto CNN for a week straight.

I personally prefer to ignore ALL 'news' as it is usually disasters, death & destruction, but all of those items are easy to write for the reporters, and like most people the like to not think more than they have to, so always take the easiest way out, and the hard to write stories are ignored because they are hard to write and are usually positive not negative in outlook..

i tend to ignore most news as well, you can very easily tell it just some people trying to make money by picking up the most distorted things out there, twisting them some more, just get attention.

the media is like an infantile child, screaming to get attention and money. it is just not worth listening to it.

okay, so this kinda confirms a point I had. Something so historically insignificant in America probably doesn't last long in the minds of people from elsewhere and vice versa.

So, I don't care what ate your baby.

So, what's everybody up to? We got three very distant places online around the same time. Kinda cool.

I personally never heard about it in the news, I was exposed to it in a joke on a sitcom, and not getting the joke I got more information on it.  Then later on I had the opportunity to expand upon that knowledge and use it so I did.  My project was done faster then everyone else because I already know many of the details.

Making dinner.  Eating Cheetos while I wait because it pisses Nicole off that I snack before dinner.  So I guess that means I'm being a dick like always.

awesome. actually, I often have ice cream for breakfast anyway. Soothes my throat and gives me the sugar to get going.

I just do it because Nicole's pretty cute as it is, and she's damn sexy when she's mad and a little frazzled.  Getting her like that right before dinner means one hell of a good dessert.  ;]

Lol, most women are when they get that way. I think that is way us men due that to them.

True. I can't think of too many times I've been told I'm gonna get my ass kicked and it didn't end well for me.

I pissed off Nesrie once or twice.  I like her.  Fortunately, we're in different states so our respective insanity can't merge and doom the universe.
