While I don't necessarily agree with the 4 game league suspension (originally 6) seeing as he was never actually charged with a crime, only accused by a drunk girl's drunk friends, I do agree he needed to be suspended by the team to be sent a message based on his over all attitude to fans and people in general, and the Rooney's said they'd suspend him regardless of the NFL's decision after this last event anyway, so it's really a moot point.
If the team was 0-3 today rather then 3-0, I'd be one of the front runners petitioning for Roger "God"ell's removal since he punished someone without the authority to do so then had the player's conduct policy changed immediately following the decision to make an accusation a punishable offense. But since the expectation was to go 2-2 without Ben by the end of week 4 rather then the 3-1 with him, they're in that same position or better now so it hasn't harmed the team which is ultimately what's important to me.
