Okay, here's what you do for this game: You have to "ban" the person who posted above you for an outrageous, silly, or funny reason. Got it?

Banned for having a helmet that allows little depth perception.
banned for I have my ethics, but I understand that time distorts this. And when all is said and done, all things are change, nothing more.
Banned for not including Ryat in your relativism-taken-too-far ban.
The whole point of having two different words like imperialism and civilization is because they are qualitatively different concepts. One term emphasizes the creation and maintenance/expansion of central authority, while the other emphasizes the long-term cultural project of maintaining values that promote communication and cooperation. Of course the two are often mixed in the real world, but that doesn't at all mean it isn't worth thinking about them as distinct and occasionally opposed social forces.
Banned for it is easier to destroy than to build.
banned for he who can destroy a thing controls a thing
Banned because that only applies to things like melange in Frank Herbert's Dune stories.
p.s. Please don't spend money on Brian Herbert's abominations published under the Dune franchise. He might have been a fine son in general, but he is in no way fit to 'continue' his father's brilliant SF work.
Banned for I couldn't even stand the movie of Dune. Roughnecks Starship Troopers is far superior.
Banned because the Hollywood versions of Dune and Starship Troopers are equally crap.
There's a decent miniseries version of the original Dune trilogy produced by the channel formerly known as SciFi, but no one has yet done a Peter Jackson-level screen treatment of any work by Heinlein.
banned for equalling Dune with Starship Troopers
Yes Dune wasn't as good as it could be but at least you got to see the worms. There was no Power Armor in Starship Troopers movie. HERESY!
Banned for BETRAYEL.
banned for loyalty
banned for insanity
Banned for lack of insanity.
Banned because I didn't say Starship Troopers, but instead Roughnecks Starship Troopers which was an animated series which was pretty darn good. It's this http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0190198/ , not this http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120201/ .
Banned for The Horde.
banned for hording it all
banned for giving it all away
So anti-capitalist!
Banned for being contrary.
banned for being a narc on behalf of the Big Brother.
Banned for your little sister.
banned for she isn't little anymore
Banned for I never had a sister, but my wife does, and her sister is always in trouble with the law, so she likes to pretend that she doesn't exist.
Banned for having relatives on the run.
Banned because that cartoon might be 'better' than the live-action films, but there is still no screen treatment of a Heinlein novel that rivals the SciFi Channel Dune miniseries or Peter Jackson's LotR mega-film.
@Ryat: Yes, the lack of the powered armor was very disappointing, but not nearly as bad as the infantile treatment of the demi-fascist state that ran the human side of the war. The armor absence I could put down to a hard budget choice. The corny 'news' clips were just bad film-making all around. (I did appreciate them making the troopers co-ed; Heinlein got a lot more feminist in his later years, although he might have wanted to hit me for typing that.)
banned cause I just wrote the lot of it off.
Actually, my little sister is little. She is short as hell.
