I don't understand why the multiplayer button exists. Perhaps it should be relabeled as "get your hopes up at a great game then get either minidump error or desyncing." The game clearly is not intended for multiple people playing the game together, and with the quality of singleplayer... it makes me regret buying Sins of a solar empire over a bronze casting of my daily poop.

What's the point?

Out of the 10 games I've tried to play with my bro over LAN, only 2 ends without minidumping or desyncing.

Sure, one player not playing won't hurt, but if you actually surf these forums, you'll find it's not only one. Not to mention the loss in sales next time stardock releases a new game.

There is more than enough help on these forums between the devs and many forum volunteers.

There are guides for the multiplayer setup, and a multitude of troubleshooting threads which contain all of the information necessary in order to correct whatever other issues one may be experiencing.

It just seems to me like you're not even interested in trying to understand/solve your issues.

With the amount of sh!t you pull out of your ass I'm surprised that you don't work for stardock. Specifically referring to the "apology" for the major bugs in the technical forum. By the way, you don't need to lose a fan to lose sales, I doubt many people become a fan of this game anyways.

Are you too stupid to realize that THERE ARE NO FIXES THAT WORK and that I've tried ALL OF THEM?

I only have two issues with this game, MINIDUMP and DESYNCING.

Surprise surprise, I get the minidump error, lets see what the offical Sins of a solar empire technical FAQ advises me to do...

* My game has crashed and told me it saved a "minidump" file. What do I do?

Please open Windows Explorer to the location below and see if your dump file is there.

XP: C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temp\Sins Dump

Vista: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\Sins Dump

If there is a minidump file present, please zip it up along with a copy of a dxdiag from your PC and a description of what you were doing when it occurred to support(at)ironcladgames(dot)com. Please note that you must provide your Sins of a Solar Empire serial number in your email to receive support (anti-piracy measure).

you're right its nopt an immidiate fix but it allows the devs do figure out the problem and maybe in the next patch fix it.

The OP (darkcurrent) deserves everything he has coming (and more in my opinion). The fact that he still hasn't been banned after his grossly inappropriate and absolutely baseless personal attacks on me as evidenced by quotes from his various posts over the past days:
