I don't understand why the multiplayer button exists. Perhaps it should be relabeled as "get your hopes up at a great game then get either minidump error or desyncing." The game clearly is not intended for multiple people playing the game together, and with the quality of singleplayer... it makes me regret buying Sins of a solar empire over a bronze casting of my daily poop.

What's the point?

Out of the 10 games I've tried to play with my bro over LAN, only 2 ends without minidumping or desyncing.

One just needs to take comfort in their security, you've got +73 Karma, and there's no reason to become aggravated because of nonsense. Being angry is a choice, and like emo's and goth's, angry people feel protected when immersed in the oblivion of their emotion--it's a goal to stay mad, so don't feel bad because someone's high.

As for the actual issue, darkcurrent does not play the game and although he probably has some legal right to be here, he has no rational purpose and has probably broken some libel/slander law, or at least the CoC, if there is one.

Tho i must say MP is sorta fun when you go into a 2v2, your teammate bails 2 minutes into the game, then the other team flattens the ai ally. Then they proceed to calling you a noob,loser, etc because they are so uber. Your a noob since you cant outbuild out tech and out expand them both at the same time, OR outbid them in the little pirate war which they feel was necessary since the massive fleet advantage apparently wasnt enough.
