Ok so I am just throwing this idea out there because I am a Halo fanatic and I think that this game could easily incorporate the Halo universe into it. I am not a very good designer but I can provide support and more ideas. There are already two races that could easily be changed into the Humans and the Covenant( TEC and Advent). All we would have to do would be to change ships some and add  gauss guns to most TEC Cap ships. I know this might take a long time but if it means that we will finally have a Halo space combat game then it will be well worth it.

I don't think they do, at least the reference data doesn't work with 1.02.  I think it was harpo99999 that converted the 1.02 data to TXT format.  You should ask whoever did it for the data.  Of course, new patches are coming out soon for Entrenchment and vanilla Sins so you might want to hold off until we get new tools.  Hopefully Stardock releases a developer exe for the new patch.

Having make some heavy modification on the original model, following the Canadaman instruction, the final result is :

 

 

- 10 launch bay for fighter/bomber

- 1 landing bay

- 10 double barrel mini MAC gun turret  ( from Halowikia : Conceivably, a 'large' ship could mount many 'small' MACs. )

- 10 VLS Shiva Nuclear Missile ( front top )

- 1 double 440 mm using mass driver technology ( normally a ground weapons who can shoot at orbital installation, adapted for spaceship ) ( ability for destroy orbital installation )

- 1 experimental front gun based on the UNSC MAC technology and the Covenant Plasma turret ( ability ) ( from Halowikia : Because of the sheer power of the weapon, Covenant fleets have usually won all space encounters against the UNSC Navy. The closest weapon that the UNSC has that is anywhere near as powerful as the Plasma turret is the MAC gun, which is difficult and costly to make. The magnetic coils used in a MAC gun can be used to shape and guide the plasma fired by a Plasma Turret. Yet, when this happens the plasma is far denser than it would be if fired normally. )... 

- 20 archer missiles pod ( will be added when texturing the ship ) ... a pod is for 5 missiles...

 

The ship can seem to be overpowered but CanadaMan have ask a SUPER Carrier... for me, a SUPER carrier is a carrier who can defend/attack by itself, without the need of escort... a little like the Soviet Kiev class aircraft carrier who have a large range of weapons... Western country name ship supercarrier in relation of their size and Soviet related to the fire power... for the UNSC in sins, i choose fire power for epic battle... and a chance to beat the covenant fleet...

Ok, that's awesome. Mine's just a drawing anyway. I do think it is a little OP, but I see your reasoning. Maybe we could make it cost more, have bad abilites, or at least get rid of the plasma gun though, or we'd have a balance issue.

Wat other ships ar u goin to make/fix? cuz i know tht the phoenix class(spirit of fire) needs some details added (bridge and engines) and tht we need a few more frigates and capitals to finish the UNSC fleet.

I am new to modeling and thought I would throw together the cradle repair station since its very simple.  My design is very basic at this point but I am open to suggestions.

I dont know how to skin meshs though so someone else will have to do that.

When i have begin design it, it was a anti-titan, a titan killer... by the way, since we are moving to Entrenchment, nothing stop you to use the reseach system, making these ship having the big weapons in late game...

 

And the model will not work in 1.05 since i have to much weapons hardpoint... 1.05 is 3 weapons x 10, entrenchment is 3 weapons x 20 ... have already 20 mini mac gun barrel, 20 archer missile pod and 10 VLS shiva missile... the max of launch bay is 10 in Entrenchment and i have 10 of them... Coding this ship in 1.05 can be possible but it will be more easy in Entrenchment...

Not sure yet... first finish the Aegis fate, texture the supercarrier, remake the covenant CSS so i can apply new texture, the covenant high charity is planned ( not for sins but can be used here like Starbase ), wish to make the covenant destroyer... it is all for now, related to Halo... i am working for other project too and have a real life and job...

For the permission on the 7DS forum, maybe ask it via Canadaman or some other people like these who are affiliate with Danmangame...

Thats cool, I want to have all the new models and textures in the most current version anyways. Also, didn't you know how to fix the texture problems when moving from 1.05 to entrenchment? The marathon is taking on the team colors :P Adds a another to-do to the list

Thanks for trying to help, but that's way too underdetailed. I'm not really one to talk (my models suck), but it needs more development. Maybe you should base it off this one. We'd love the help!

If i good remember, the alpha channel from the cl map is switched with the red channel from the da map... that now, you really ,need a alpha channal for the cl map where minimum one pixel is paint... don't remember  if the paint color is white and background black... or reverse !!!

I'll start on it soon.  I knew mine was underdetailed.  I was basically making mine as a proof-of-concept and wasn't even sure if you guys would like the help.  I'll try to have something by the end of the week.
