Multiplayer

So it says up to 10 players in multiplayer. Does this mean its like starcraft where everyone picks a race and the fun begins? or are people of the same race on the same team ? that last question seems pretty stupid but you never know.

Best you will get (prolly) is players playing together against computer opponents in multi-player. I think the campaign is single player only...

I've got a really good Questions...

This Point in the FAQ:
Q. What do you mean by anonymous matchmaking?
A. When you choose to search for a game in this format, Ironclad Online will examine the poll of other searching players and attempt to place you into a game of your selected type against an opponent or opponents of relatively equal skill. Games played in such a manner will count towards your standing on that format's competitive ladder.

This System is absolutely killing Multiplayer games, I've seen it with Blitzkrieg 2 already, its almost impossible to play with 2-3 FRIENDS at ONE Game, and if you're so lucky to play with 2 Friends of you in ONE and the same game, you're never lucky enough to get the right Teams too...

I dont know how other Players think, but for me and all my Friends, the most important Part at Multiplayer is to keep control over the system, not to let the system keep control over the player.

Sorry but if the IDEA with "anonymous matchmaking" will persist until release, the game will fail in MP, the Anonymous matchmaking allways was user-unfriendly and it will allways be.

it might just be an option for us that are lazy lol

You won't have to use the matchmaking at all. It's just there if you want to play against a random person of approximately the same level of skill.

I also hope that cheaters will be dealt with as well, take a look how EA is handling C&C3, is at a point of utter collapse, because one of the biggest problems is that they are letting cheaters get away with it, and disconnecter's are rampant, as they have allowed them to still earn points, so that they are rising high in the ranks while not winning many games, I really hope IC's policys will be a lot better, especially with the matchmaking thing, otherwise like C&C3 the MP part will be dead in a month,

I'm pretty sure that anon matchups will simply be an option, not the only way. It would indeed be rather annoying if you couldn't play with specific players.

Kyro and Yarlen are spot on. You can setup your own games with your own friends.
