As for Servius, do not incur my wrath by wasting posting space!!
Well, lets not waste anymore by double posting.
I didnt double post, I posted too clearly different posts.

Anyways, I guess we could get back to topic.

Now who wants Asia?

Ok, here is my best go at an analogy for this operation:

Is everyone familiar with the monkey's, keyboards and shakespeare concept? heres a rundown:

if you have 10 monkeys bashing randomly at keys on a keyboard for a million years you will eventually come out with all of shakespeare's works (and supposedly many other people's to)

qubits work under the same concept, by running all states of "on" "off" and in between simultaneously you come out with EVERY possible combonation, ones that work are selected and ones that aren't are deleted and forgotten.
the system works under brute force, rather than say the intelligent elegance of data disection.

lol this is true but for quantum computers, its like 10 monkeys that could weightlift an entire 747

Truely you are my most loyal servant. I guess I will give you Asia too... though i would like to divide it, too big for one person to own it. Plus you already have Europe

Join us, or die!!

Figuratively of course, I am not a big supporter of threats.

come back when the world isn't dominated by a Democracy "Hyper Power"
Was "super" just not good enough for them?
Uber Power.
Now I am quite sure they arent that powerful... or maybe they are.
"hyper power" was the term coined for a nation that was the sole dominator in political, economic and military spheres of influence.
that is pretty much what America is. sure the EU has consolidated influence and East Asia is growing in power, but America still dominates the global socio-eco-political environment.

@ Multianna: With heavry lasser cannons aimed at Schem's house... right?

@Schem: To say it was the true economic dominant power would be an overstatement, nothing has been that since Great Britain's Empire crumbled into dust. This country has economic might, but it isnt dominating ANY markets.

@Multianna's link: Ahh progress, it just makes me think that our existence is actually worth something

are you kidding me...

there are so many markets that are dominated by American companies that it isnt funny.
here, a list
Beef Industry
Fast food industry
Soft Drink industry (shh, I'm on a fats roll)
Computer industry
Military industry

the EU dominates some, like say:
Wines
Cheeses
Fine metal crafting

China:
Toy industry
Production of simple parts

SK and Japan
Gaming Industry
Software Programming

as you can clearly see we are pretty branching while most other countries are specialized.
I'll have to look up in the EU market some more, but its not nearly as diverse as the American one, why do you think our GDP per capita is so much larger?

@ With heavry lasser cannons aimed at Schem's house... right?

As you wish my master

I will await for further instructions

Ahh progress, it just makes me think that our existence is actually worth something

good news indeed, so now we know the theory can be done. But i guess there will be a years before we see it used somewhere. But i guess the first to use it would be our goverments

We have a branching?!?!

In what food?
We have a branching?!?!

In what food?

wow, your ethos just went from like... 99% down to...
god, you dont want to know

we dominate most markets. from fishing to fries to wheat to salt to beef to chicken and back again

very few wide-spread foods (cheeses being one of them) escape our domineering grasp. rice is another great example (real, far east rice. not the oat-based stuff)
Exactly food and computer, no wonder the country is going no where

And do you really think I care about my 'ethos', especailly online?
The answer is no, though I do treasure respect in my opinions, I am very cynical and take little information for granted. You my good sir, are biased, so am I. The thing seems to be is that while I subject everything to opinion, you keep defending some of the same things over and over again. Although, I myself find you a worthy arguer(if that is a word), you really do have to get over yourself, just a bit.

No offense meant whatsover, immagine it as a simple 'opinion'.

And you have forgotten quite a few other industries:
Textiles
Chemical Ingineering
Complex engineering
Manufacturing
Biochemical engineering
travel
financial institutions
turisism

Education industry (Its a stretch, but it can fit if you consider how many international student's we accept)
Innovation

I'll have to look up in the EU market some more (I can admit, I'm not an expert on their economy), but its clearly not as diverse as the American one, why do you think our GDP per capita is so much larger? (150% of Euro's)

as for the British Empire, the only reason that cant be considered a hyperpower was because it was dealing with extreme regional competition, the spaniards, french, russia etc.

we dont have that problem really. overspecialization has taken care of that for us. we are the only country in the world with enough of a truly diverse climate taht we can bring that all together.

Exactly food and computer, no wonder the country is going no where

these are the two GREATEST industries in teh world, nothing is larger than they are. especially food

and I'm only pointing out our most concrete industries, we have branches (powerful branches) in everything, everything. and thats far more important than a few specialized branches

as for "going nowhere", where the hell have YOU been??? in a cave???

McDonalds, the very institution tha collapsed the Soviet Union

EXACTLY
if one company can collapse a nation (with a little help from internal radicals) then it can dominate a market easily

here, I challenge you. name one market that we aren't prominent in. I wont call anything unfair but you have to claim the whole market (i.e. "diamond industry" instead of "diamond mining", because you can still dominate diamond mining by controling diamond refinement)
for everything you come up with I'll make two, and try to make at least three that we are in. If I can do as many as 2/3 of these posts under these conditions I'll have won, you have to make the 1/2 threshold to make me wrong and the 2/3 threshold to completely dominate the arguement
this'll be fun. I have so much...

Fine I will name one industry.
