Its mot a bad game. but any game that requires 2GB of RAM for smooth running is off the list for me. Also, when I tried the beta, the sides aren't really original - they seem like cookie cutter clones of each other with different unit graphics and slightly different tactics. If you compare this to say Earth 2160 which has four different sides with four different buildstyles, its disappointing. Altarian Defaults? in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Can someone tell me what the defaults are for the Altarians in terms of colours / trims and skills as I accidenly editied their main details and can't reset back to the race defaults (in singleplayer mode) Maybe this could be added as a rollback feature in a future release if you edit an existing race?

I've got it working as well - it seems as though you need to install the download from the Galactciv 2 website THEN you use your registration code and update it in the subscription panel. That should solve most things hopefully.

I have to add that I can't see Galactic Civ 2 either, even though I have an active dargin.net/totalgaming.net subscription and that I bought a large booster pack recently. is the latest version of stardock central bugged so that only certain subscription holders can see the pre-load etc?

I think there are a couple of programs you can get that does most of the work for you.. I will dig around and see if I can find out any info.
