I'd really love to see a slick Gmail notifier for DX that would allow you to get the subject and first few lines of your messages (like a back/forward button to cycle through the messages).

^I don't really see the point of that since then instead of managing 1 app (DX) you have to manage many (5 on my desktop currently). How does that make anyone's life easier having their notification area populated by little apps?
