Ok. I'll try that. I'm currently on Normal. I thought I was ready, but I guess not.

Well....I can't stand having the pirates. I actually turn them off in every game. As much as this pick attack stuff pisses me off the pirates piss me off on a whole other level. Tactical structures do basically nothing as far as I can see. :( I used to use them, but any attack force just sort of brushes them off and keeps on attacking. As for the two fleet idea, I do that. That's the splitting the fleet strategy I mentioned. A half-fleet can't do much of anything. And i
I recently bought Sins after massively enjoying the demo. I'd be day dreaming about playing it while at work. Now that I've got the real thing...I'm stuck. The computer is just so unbelievably evil. It seems like I need a 30 ship fleet at every colony I have anywhere in the galaxy just to defend and forget about attacking anything. If I send a fleet off to start an offensive: The computer instantly knows and sends their entire fleet to destroy the world

Well it's good to know I'm not the only one. Is there any chance of getting this in the next patch?
Ok I'm having a rough time with my ships. I am currently kicking tail in my current game and i have tons of ships flying around and waiting for each and every one of them to move is infuriating. Is there anyway of making them all move instantly and at the same time like the computer's ships do?

This may be a bug I'm not sure. It certainly is annoying. Whenever a large class ship enters a battle it begins to "wobble." That is to say it turns back and forth, or pitches up and down repeatedly. Now this is nothing serious obviously, but it is annoying. On the subject of ships, wasn't there some talk about setting up a gallery to show off our designs?

I pre-ordered direct from Stardock and I was wondering where I could go to get an update on what my order status is (has it shipped, when may it arrive, etc.) BTW incredible job guys I have not been so excited about a video game in a very long time.
New bugs: I built a new huge class ship. When I move around the map It leaves behind "ghosts" of itself. Bascially just a snapshot of the ship on the way to wherever it was going. The real ship keeps on going just fine. These ghost also show up on the radar as fully functional ships. I have a screenshot, but I don't know if I'm allowed to post a link on the boards. I never recieve alerts that a civilization has surrendered to

Well how 'bout that. Thanks. I really need a manual or something explaining all the features.
Ok a found a ton of bugs. Here goes: 1. Some of my older ships (scout, survey ship) have changed without my help. For example, my scout has become a large-hulled ship with random extras components on it, and my survey ship has become a blank medium ship. 2. Planets of mine that have been conquered by an enemy empire still provides vision of the surrounding area. 3. Clicking "Report" in the Foreign relations
That sounds like what happened to me. My ships range limit is a straight line across the middle of the map.
Thanks for the help axhead. Another bug: I was trying to cross the galaxy to meet the Torians, but no matter how many life support modules I install ships cannot travel more than halfway down the map. (the Torians and I are on opposite sides of the map. Galaxy size=huge or large I can't remember which. I tried different ship classes and upgraded to ultra life support, but nothing has any effect.
I just joined the beta so if I'm doing something wrong tell me A few bugs and critiques: I get no sound whatsoever while playing the game. I've turned the volume up to full and only makes my speakers buzz threateningly at me. Whenever I send a ship somewhere after it finishes it's move for the turn it turns around and faces the galactic east (lower right of the minimap). It faces correctly when it moves, until it stops ag
