I was having the same problem so I uninstalled v5 and then reinstaled it instead of updating; then rebooted and it works great!

you can use object bar to do that too - make a 'system command' section and choose 'show/hide windows taskbar' under 'object bar commands'

or use object bar and hide the windows taskbar.... and make your own 'system tray' bar with the object bar program.

only docklet I had running was the clock and less than 10 objects on the dock. I tried it with, and without, the taskbar function. No error messages, just a blue screen reminiscant of windows 98 (using XP) that says something about a physical memory dump.

object dock has such potential - but it consistently crashed my (relatively new) computer, and after some frustration I finally, reluctantly, gave up on it.

happens with all of them, somehow. I figured it was some weird glitch with my laptop, and now I think that's it for sure. Anyway I moved everything from the start menu into a slick objectbar so the problem is in a sense solved. Thanks for the help! joe

has anyone had the problem where when you click on start (or whatever the skinned start button becomes) in windowblinds that the start menu disappears when you move the mouse on to the start menu? Returning to the start button, clicking it again and then mousing over the start menu works fine, it's just that first time that it dissapears... I thought maybe it was the freebiw WB but after purchasing the full object desktop the same thing is happening. Just wondering if this happens to anyone else

great, but won't let you use the same user name twice - I take a laptop between home and work and need the same incoming server settings (user name, email address, password) but a different SMTP server; and it won't allow it, so I am stuck with outlook for now.
