WB6 & 7: Titlebar/Window Frame flickers when above 3D app & per pixel frames are enabled in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

Fresh WB6 install (registered), upgraded to WB7 beta, on WinXP (fully updated, latest drivers): WB works fine UNLESS a skinned window is in front of a window with 3D content. Then the window frame flickers. That's unfortunate insofar as I work primarily with 3D tools and of course 3D games. The problem goes away when disabling per pixel window borders, thus it's fixable. However... is there something I am missing to get it all to work even with per pixel borders? <p

Just use TOR (free, see http://tor.eff.org) - one problem solved (but created others). Another option: Use a different search engine. Or a meta engine. Block cookies other than session cookies. a) I've got hardware in our company network for which no Vista drivers exist, nor are they planned. b) Upgrading all "eligible" PCs to Vista would cost a fortune. c) As people have said (and as is my experience too) Vista is a resource hog. Honestly I don't see the point in updating to Vista just now. Maybe after it has been out for a while, and the REAL good&bad lists are out. At the moment it's too early to say anything. Looking at XP... the ONLY reason I ever upgraded to that one was the better stability, and the better support for power saving features. Most of the features on Vista are, so far, completely irrelevant for my home use. WinFX? Who cares. Display Foundation stu
