no, i just unloaded wb first i don't have stardock central anyway i'l try uninstalling wb completely, and reinstall

I upgraded to WB5 yesterday, and it seems to have completely screwed up my computer. First of all, when you log in I get the classic logon prompt, when I have the welcome screen logon and user switching enabled. Additionally, when I try to switch user, I get the "Unlock Computer" dialog, saying "this computer is in use and has been locked", I type in my password, and it just takes me back to the desktop. Yeah, I think they should bring that back, the reason for it might be load on the server, i have noticed since DA hit 10mill deviations, it seems to have got really slow. I agree with what jafo is saying, but the problem is what amount of the wallpaper should hidden to make the wallpaper unextractable. What one mod thinks is acceptable, another may not. Some may take the time to examine the location of things obsuring the wallpaper and deem if a good extraction could be made, whereas another may simply glance at the screenshot deeming it unaceptable immediatly. Also if you look through the wallpapers, you can find rubbish wallpapers that were blatantly produced in Bryce using preset shapes and textures, how did they get accpeted?????

at least 75% of the xp wb skins submitted in the last 18 months are over the top and to large (with the exception of msstlye ports ), skinners just show off as many of their skills as possible in one skin without considering how it looks. With visual styles on sites like deviantart.com in particular (although there are only about 800 of them), where at least 60% are all much more minimal and look great. <img

"Once installed, the program (WB)can NOT be removed from your system. Uninstall will remove Windows' original skin system with the program files." There is usually at least one person that says somthing like that for every piece of software on download.com [

yes you are right, there is 3 pix of magic pink at the top if i remove it the top bar decreases in hieght, so i still dont understand why it does not have a gap in UIS1, but does with UIS2

I have been working on a port of a Visual style, its allmost finished except for 1 problem: the title bar of a maximized window, has a 5 pixel gap above it, with my desktop wallpaper showing through The skin was previously UIS1 format and it did not do this, but now it is UIS2 this happens. Can anyone tell me how to sort this out in skinstudio

All 4 of the skins i submited in the last month or so, disapeared from My Skins". Does this mean that they were not accepted?

I have also had problems uploading. I uploaded 3 wallpapers a 3 days ago, but they have disapeared from "My Skins", does this mean they have not been aproved?
