wow..."nearly as 'classic'" nearly what as "classic"? goofy?

indeed, you're welcome. love me.
robert j., riiiight. nope.
sthrncin, yeah, it is. i use wmp9 as well and the converter works fine.
diafragma, you can use the windows media bonus pack to convert winamp skins to windows media skins.
nice, but why does the text on tabs - in the display properties windows for instance - truncated with "..." when not selected, and the text on the selected tab display over the tabs borders? that's never a good look. just looks sloppy. but everything else is top-notch, honestly.
try pressing the print screen button. it will copy the current screen (sans mouse pointer) to the clipboard. you can paste it into photoshop, paint, etc. from there.
well, i gave skin studio a shot last night and well, it just takes too much right-side-of-the-brain type of talent. needles to say, i have none of that.
hm, i don't think i could afford to pay anyone by the hour. a flat fee of $50 for a good skin is certainly possible though. oh well, i was hoping it would sort of catch on as a good idea. i wasn't neccessarily thinking it had to be branded as star wars really (to be honest, i'm not a fan of text on skins at all), just sort of cloud city-art deco looking. that way, it could have broad appeal to it. maybe i really should give it a shot myself then.
i'd rather just let the idea germinate in an experienced skinners mind than to try and fool myself into thinking i have even the slightest clue or artistic talent to approach this on my own (or even with the communities guidance!). here's to holding my breath! *cheers!*
32. i'm not a skinner, but i play one on TV.
hi all, while i was installing windows a few years ago on an old computer, i was watching the empire strikes back. the falcon had just landed on the east platform of cloud city, so when the windows setup up asked me for a name for my computer, i thought, "hm, how about 'cloud-city?'". anyway, over the years as i've upgraded computers and OS's, i've sort of stuck with the cloud city theme when naming vaious objects on them. for example, my home LAN is called the Anoat System, my wireless n
i got it...thanks.
ok, i paid for it, got a confirmation from BMT micro that credit card has been approved, etc. now what? some sort of activation key is needed to download the suite. where is it? it's not in the receipt from BMT micro. this is about as intuitive as....well, i can't think of anything, but it's not very intuitive, that's for sure!
make sure you have CM to list all available components. also, it's list ted as WB 3.9, not 4.0.
enough said!
i'm just so amazed by this. the flexibility of this feature is a huge cherry on top. it's a trump card in the world of skinning, in my opinion, and it's a feature that every skin should support. i'm running toonXP with a blue color, using the blue wallpaper and it's just so fricking gorgeous!
uh, must i ask again, frogboy?
uh...methinks PogS 3K will strike a nerve or two. i hear a rebutal cocking, er, brewing.
i find it amusing that you actually think that i really believe that WB4 will bring world peace. i find it insulting that you say that i'll be whining for WB5. as someone that considers himself a hippy at heart, i sympathize with the hippies and what they stood for, but for god's sake get off my back, "maaaaaan!"
windowblinds 4 alpha. that's what the hell it is.
the WB4 alpha will bring world peace. please release it now? thank you so much.
everyone with SMP chime in. :crickets chirping:
i'm equally ignorant....
i thought i'd try OB. i'm guessing this is a relatively feature thin theme, because upon installation of OB, some of the other ones included full task bars and start menus, as well as panels on the side of the screen. the toon one seems to just be a right-click for the desktop. am i right? so, in the description of it in the OB theme manager, the author pretty much just kept the description from "Simple v1.0?, right? it read "A 'simple' theme combining program access, taskbars, and more in
