What happens when subscription lapses for Stardock Object Desktop? in Stardock Software Stardock Forums

I understand I get no updates after subscription lapses. But can I still access and use the software on my PC? Is there a way to buy a permanent license for all of this? I really don't like the subscription model for software everyone is pushing. tunnel rush
