I have been having a similar problem on my end, with lower frequency, and it started with the most recent update. I use hotkey switching and the frequency appears to be based off of switching volume. Basic Config: Two Intel Windows 10 computers running in KM mode.

I have the same problem when I am running a 3D application on one machine and not the other. I have to load up another 3D application in order to get the mouse back. So load up your favorite MMO or FPS to get the mouse back. And this is under Vista/XP Pro, so the same exact situation. I never had this problem until I got the new Vista PC
