ok so i did what ya said, I removed the Catalyst control center and now I get a transparent taskbar, just not window borders....this is makin me nuts! LOL For example, I have a transparent start menu using Dogmax4 but not the window borders. Go figure.

I have the aforementioned card, and I would THINK that it should support the per pixel alpha. Well, lemme re-phrase that. it DID support it at one time. I followed Kols'advice and re-installed the OLD original driver for the card and it worked! But When I installed one of the WB5 updates all of a sudden it stopped working, and no I didn't archive my installs so too late now. I had an easy install as well, Athlon64 3200+ 1gig of RAM Xtasy 9200se One issue though, for some reason I get the clear and transparent taskbar, but not the window borders. Still runs smooth though!
