Just trade them ships Ive gotten a ton of techs from the AI by just trading them ships i was going to discard (to make room for newer better ones) It seems all techs have a "trade value" though, with weapon techs having an exceptionally high value and other techs really low. Hostile world colonization techs were cheap as crisps to get compared to weapon techs, despite taking more time to research

I usually start my planet out by turning off the governor and building one thing at a time. Yeah, i have never used the governors for anything, except automatically queueing up upgrades to existing buildings Most planets get four factories to start out, then a starport, then two each econ and research buildings, then entertainment and farm. As the title says, i dont know how to build my planets In for example the civilization series you can build 1 of each building in each city, so the choice of what to build is taken from you (not that this is bad) However,i cant really decide what to build in this game (this is also partially due to not really knowing exactly how the more advanced game mechanics works, for example focusing) The game structure lends itself to building many of the same building, as far as
Whenever i try to download a winstyle i jsut get a error message about it not being able to find a certain .jpg image in my temp folder i have CursorXP, DesktopX, IconPackager, ObjectBar, WindowBlinds and WinStyles installed, all under their respective folders under the c:\util\stardock folder anyone know whats wrong ? (whenever i click on a winstyle file i get thie winstyles download prompt, i never get to save an actual style)
so thats the only way to get it to work properly ? i would have thought that the whole point of the object dock was to replace the task bar...
My object dock just sits at the bottom of the screen, removing the start-menu bar at the bottom (dunoo what its called, its the one with the start button and systray) ive seen lots of screenshots with people with like 4 docks, 1 at the bottom, 1 at top, left and right, how do you do that ? also, im running quite many programs from the systray, like dc++, mirc, msn, etc etc, how do i get the systray icons into object dock ? i cant access these programs with the object dock on since it "steals
