This issue was somehow resolved with the latest update of Intel display drivers and the game (1.43). Now i the game works and the initial dialog passed sucessfuly

I have the same issue. Bought the game from GOG, couldn't play it at all. Freezes on the first Dialog (app not responding)- UI shown, animation and dialog windows are black. Specs: Windows 10 Pro 1909 i7-6700/32GB RAM + I use the integrated Intel Graphics HD530 (don't have external video) with the latest intel driver (tried an older one too, no difference) Tried all kind of settings.
