I've spent enough time trying to troubleshoot what should have been caught but your first year software testers, assuming Stardock employs them. Unfortunately, SC:O joins the list of games that were released too early and with too many problems. People should not have to pay to become your testers. Perhaps I spoke to soon. Saving a match, changing the resolution to 4k, exiting, and restarting/ loading the save game from before (to apply changes) is causing a crash to desktop. I'm disappointed to say the least. I shouldn't have to pay for games so buggy a first year software tester could catch issues like this on their first day.

The game is working now. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it in a completely new location, on a separate drive even (probably not necessary but what the hell...) I can start a new game and finally play.

The game will not launch for me. All OTHER games I have, do. When launching a NEW GAME, it displays the yellow space ship screen for a couple seconds than bombs out to my desktop. This is the 5th time, and about 2 hours spent trying to get it to work. What I've tried? 1. Uninstalling and reinstalling the game 2. Clearing download cache in Steam 3.
