I can't find the thingy to add sounds to my WB skin.. also,is there an option in WB to add your own sounds? Sorry I'm kinda new at this.
OK,I'll add on to Pixine's idea-all in favor of Beatles Apple start d/ling lots of songs off whichever p2p prog you use! Alert to Apple computers-use all that money you got for those high priced machines and MERGE WITH MICROSOFT!!!
Yeesh! Apple vs. Apple?? :\ Can we start saying WHICH apple plz? Fine,Apple computers should rename to something better then. Or maybe Apple computer corp. should just protect themselves by that thing featured in some of the walls here- merge with Microsoft. Besides, Apple pc looks blended with Windows functionality? That'll squash Linux flat!

suggestion then-don't go leaving your CD-Rs arounds like normal CDs expecting them to be just fine. Even normal CDs go out if they aren't properly maintained.It's just CD'rs are'nt as durable,so you have to maintain those even stricter.
All upgrading my DX does unfortunately is mess my theme up and kick up script errors everywhere. So I have to stick with DX 1.2 if I want to keep my theme.
Odd Borg's idea is the best I've seen yet IMO.
Bootscreen>sections- -low-res backgrounds (640x480 res walls) -progress BMPs (progress bars) -Windows OS besides XP (all said in title) As in we should upload BMPs here-plain and simple. We aren't losing as many users here to Trillian as to Boots obviously. Can we just leave it at that please?
OK I got a better idea.How about we make progress BMPs and Images that are specially made for seeing on bootup(640 x 480,16 color but still looks great )instead of being risky and posting EXEs? I'd like to think Microsoft is taking note of how we are fixing our OS so they can get ideas on what people would prefer (for example,they may allow full customization of the entire OS in the next Windows in even simpler ways than we do it). This way,they can improve the design and get even more people buying their software than before. IMO somebody should REALLY ask Microsoft about this. But then again,we should be able to,after all we PAID for the new OS (or paid extra $$ for a new PC with it installed),and they disclaim any damage to your PC as a result of modification to the OS (don't they?). Though I did vote for boot screens,I don't exactly care,because I already changed my boot with BootXP 2,just for any body interested.It doesn't replace the boot file (ntoskrnl) with something possibly PC crashing,but it extracts the bitmaps from the file and uses them itself,or you can just load an image into it instead.And if something goes wrong,there's an option when you start up to run a backup.
