Maybe the Tywom are meant to evoke the negative stereotype though. Being (from my understanding) people who have been watching us and even maybe interacting with us for a while, it would not be odd for them to have adopted some cultural things from us. And hey, maybe they are fans of SC 2 in-universe! Take the Thraddash for example.
