TiVo is the best, no doubt. I have an integrated TiVo/DirecTV box it rules. Just to comment on a previous comment - my box has dual input and can record two shows at once. No PIP, but never noticed it. If you have young kids, you need some sort of DVR - I got mine over two years ago, paid the $250 lifetime fee - so now I am in the free and clear. I guess it is fine if you are a mainstream, only-now music fan. When they start offering a lot of the tunes that are out-of-print (I am a child of the 80s, unlike all you kids) then I might be interested.

I like the review - but I have to disagree with one point, specifically one of the 'cons'. "Only useful in a non-work environment"? Hardly - almost every developer here uses it - the same old thing gets old, and some of the features make working with windows (unfortunately windows 2000) better - if nothing else the right-click roll-up minimize. Also, many use the dinksDX skin to add extra controls to the workspace to control winamp and to act as an applauncher. While we can't go too overboard wi
