Hi, Thanks for the prompt reply! I searched in pdfSAM's settings, but I couldn't find any option regarding this key combination or any other keyboard shortcut whatsoever. For now, I try to remember and have my files deselected when opening a new tab/window. Unfortunately, my options are limited due to lack of admin rights. Thanks, John

I have an annoying problem while using Groupy in the following scenario: 1. The program pdfSAM is installed. 2. One or more pdf files are selected. 3. The preview pane in Windows file explorer is enabled (and pdfSAM does the preview). Whenever I click "+" to open a new tab, a pop-up window from the pdf program appears, as shown below (4.). The new tab is not opened. Only if I don't have any pdfs selected, then the pop-up does not appear,
1. Document shortcuts open libraries instead of just the default documents folder. Libraries are becoming obsolete, so I think it is a good idea to dismiss them. 2. The Windows Terminal shortcut does not work. 3. Apps and programs have bee
Same aesthetic problem here, though I don't have tabs on top of the window but combined within the window. Groupy still breaks the roundness of the window on the top left. It definitely needs an update for Windows 11.
Hello again, New problem: now that I removed file explorer from the "automatically group" list, when I click on the "+" symbol to add a new tab, it sometimes opens a new tab and other times a new separate window. Any ideas?
Hello, Thanks for the prompt reply. Yes, it was in the "Automatically group" list. Now I removed it and the problem is gone! I still think this is a small bug, why would it transf
If I have, for example, three windows of file explorer open and grouped together, and I open a new file explorer window in a different desktop (through task view), then one of the three joined windows (from the previous desktop) is un-grouped and joined with the new explorer window (on the new desktop). If I ungroup the new window from the window that traveled through different virtual desktops, then the old window rejoins again the original group (where it should have stayed in
I found that "startisback" has this feature and also has the option for a classic start menu that expands on the side (as in Windows 2000, but more modern looking, with transparency etc.).
Hello, Thanks for the quick response. I don't have any video screen capturing software and I don't want to go through that procedure. You can see the image below. If I drag the above group holding it from point A (gray area), I can continue to point B (under the taskbar). At normal conditions, when t
When applications that do and do not support merging of the tab in their title bar are grouped together, their group can be dragged below the taskbar and then becomes inaccessible.
Hi Neil, Thanks for the reply. It would be nicer if they weren't though in a subfolder but all together with regular programs. Also, an option to expand the "all programs" as a menu list (as universal applications) but again with all apps and programs together could be nice (something like a classic Windows start menu).
Hello, I made this suggestion 3 years ago ( https://forums.stardock.com/482252/page/1/#3690190) and I'm writing once more about it: It would be nice if apps and programs appeared on the same list instead of one old fashioned (pre Win XP) expandable menu and one newer (Win 7 style). I really don't see why I should go through the list on the right form Mail, Calendar, and the other mod
Hello again, Any more ideas on this one? Is there somewhere I can make an official feature request? Thanks, John
Hi fictitiousfellow , Thanks for your reply. Your trick works but I would rather have an official way to do that. That's because if an new application gets installed or an old one is removed, I will manually have to update the list. Plus, I am not sure if this is going to ruin anything else if I remove Start10. Will I have duplicates within the Windows' S
Is there an option to add the universal applications in the same list with the regular desktop programs (all programs)? I would really like to have an option to "merge" those lists, instead of having to look for apps & programs in two different places. Apparently this has happened by mistake to someone here https://forums.stardock.com/471084 , but an official setting would be nice! Thanks,
I agree with this! There should be a setting that allows the start menu to have the exact same appearance with the task bar (option to be both blurry or not blurry). Additionally, the transparency for the menu should be allowed to have values less than 62% which is the minimum setting right now (the task bar can reach 0%). Both of these options are easy to implement.
