I unfortunately haven't been able to participate on the forums or in Discord nearly as much as I'd hoped. I've been stuck mostly working double/triple projects at work, and that's left me wanting to pour lemon juice in my eyes. I'm a business and systems analyst, so process/design/feedback is my job, and this came into my life just when I took on more work. I like the idea of introducing the original species from SCI/II, but only sparingly. I would fear the game would e

I'm all for delaying in order to make a better game. I'm admittedly tired of all the games that are released ahead of time just to make a deadline, and are falling apart or don't live up to expectations. for the SC games, I've always been in it for the story and the exploration and customization. I prefer a game that can hit the ground running, than to see another No Man's Sky.

Tribble Cannon - Send tribbles to your enemy, they lose energy as their resources are devoted to fixing this problem. I like the idea of the POW module, but also refugee. Able to scoop up crew that may not have otherwise survived the fight, could improve relations with other species if they're returned. Or, you know, ask the prisoners some difficult questions, with duct tape and jumper cables. I'd like to see different designs for modules. Bio-mechanical versions, pure
I have a day off, and that of course means putting off being an adult and doing those things people refer to as "responsibilities" (or as I feel a more accurate naming, crappy hate based trade offs for fun stuffs) and was able to finally go through a lot of the design notes that were presented. I did not have time to fully go through all of the forums, so I picked and chose some, so apologies if some of the questions/comments have been addressed. First off, I was given SCII for the 3D
Great interview. I like the multiverse concept, and am interested in seeing what's in there. It was specifically said that the "main cast" would be all new aliens, but it looks like there could be secondary/tirtiary characters from more familiar races. I know it is a bias opinion, but I'd be hit with some nostalgia at seeing some of the races from SCII pop up in whatever forms. I also like that they're not trying to compete with Mass Effect, I think that point is very important, a
Hi, my name is Rich. Played SCII when it hit the 3DO, and jump back into it every now and then with UQM. Tried getting into those forums but life got a hold of me (because being an adult is oh so fun) and lost track of everything going on. Jumped back into the game recently, and was looking up some info and stumbled across this new game in the series. Really excited to see how this plays out, and glad the community is pretty involved so far.
