As off as I can turn things (Disabled which pauses the service) while at work the error is still occurring. I will try to reproduce at home in a cleaner environment after work. FWIW, I also installed WB today with no problems which makes me less suspicious of the AV software.

From someone having the sme problem currently, here's what is put into the log (which was emptied before attempting the "Retry" option). I find it interesting that the error was placed into the log twice. It would appear to be an MD5 checksum problem in my case. As food for thought: How much of the user information could come from a MS Passport profile? (or any of the other similar solutions) The type of information collected in these solutions could be a good starting point for discussion. Having the option to wrap around an existing profile solution would make some users happy as they would not need to re-enter their information again. Could be written in a way to have importers/translators for all kinds of sources...
