Control C doesn't work in Command Prompt in Keyboard LaunchPad Stardock Forums

I am using Keyboard Launchpad 1.60.010 and this particular shortcut is one I have used for years with no problems but now it doesn't work right. I have it set up so Windows C opens a command prompt using C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe as the Link. It opens the DOS window but if I have a ping 172.0.0.1 -t going, I can't interrupt it with a Control C.
