I can't play more than 1 minute of this game. When I leave and head to Triton at the beginning, or anywhere else, the game stops and it zooms out and just pans and swings through Sol. I lose all control except ESC where I can quit or start the nonsense over again. As a founding member, I sure expected to be able to play more than 1 minute of the game. This is totally unacceptable, and there has been no help forthcoming since I reported this in November. What give
Still can't play more than 1 minute of the game. I get to Triton, the view zooms out and keeps spinning though Sol. I lose all control other than being able to quit the game. Fantastic.
For myself, I start a game, go through the opening dialogue. I leave to head to Triton. Once I get there, the game stops, zooms out, and just does a spinning overview of the solar system. I have no control. I tried going to another planet instead, same deal. As soon as I get there, the ship stops, the screen zooms out and I can do nothing. Pretty exciting I can't get 3 minutes into the game without a glitch.
Hello all, not sure if this is the right place for this or not. When I play the BETA, the fan on my computer goes berserk and the computer gets very hot. I'm not sure if there is a setting somewhere where I can dial down the visuals or something? Maybe some other setting? My laptop is pretty decent I thought, so I wasn't thinking this game would push it so hard. Maybe just something I'll have to deal with? Windows 10 32GB Ram 64 bit <

I'm having the same issue. Can't get anything to play on Steam, include Fleet Battles beta.
Windows 10 32GB Ram Intel Core I7 2.81GHZ NVIDIA GTX I can't get anything to launch. Tried months ago to play the BETA, kept getting a missing executable error. Am trying to reinstall now after trying again today. Also attempted to launch Fleet Battles Beta today. It's just an endless circle of clicking on "play" in Steam, which takes me to a SC website, which has a "play" button, which takes me back to Steam.
I have no idea how to even make this stuff playable. I have it on Steam, which I don't know much about. Anytime I try to play "Origins" beta, I get an error that it's missing its executable. Now I have Fleet Battles Beta listed. I've punched in the code, now when I click Play, it takes me a Star Control page with an Install and Visit Website button. I click Install and it asks me every time for my email address, once I punch that it it just goes back to Steam and

I became a lifetime founder quite a while ago. Since that has happened, I haven't gotten any notifications or updates other than when I visit the Founders Vault. I don't know a lot about Steam, I have it, and have 1 other game I use it for. However, I got nothing in regards to any beta or melee testing or whatever it was, and any link I look at only says "pre-order now" despite the fact I should have a copy of the game whenever it's released. What am I missing? W
Have you signed into the Vault yet? Mine did not show up until I accessed the Vault.
Hello all, my name is Garrett. I started playing in the early 90's, and every couple years would fire it up again. I still have the original 3.5" floppy disks. [e digicons]:)[/e] I was overyjoyed when the HD remaster made the interface on my computer so much better. I pre ordered yesterday, as a lifetime Founder, and am really looking forward to this. I'm not trying to think about it too much or use SC2 as a benchmark.  
I second this question. I hate that I missed out on the Founders Program.
