I am right beside the system and it thinks I am too far away, when using the Captains Log to set navigation to the system (Alpha Gladius A).

When talking to the measured, on their home world, The Drenkend (Asking about other species) dialog hangs at the end. You have to terminate the task and restart the game
In Theta Lynx, when I hail the ship, I converse and select the leave option, at which time it cycles back to the start of the hail/fire at will sequence. There is no way to exit this other than using the 'fire at will' option.
Restarting the program corrected this issue. Programmers need to check status of the button when they create the class.
The 'Sell Conventionals' button has become Disabled. I reckon Nickel is pretty conventional.
One thing that my intro does allow for, is that it can be merged into existing games if needed, orrrr, there can be logical other splits. Another aspect, is that if there are several games based on splits, there can be a game that merges them with a story about collapsing universes/dimensions, with an outcome being something robust and rich in a final unified history. It can also allow for the Urquan to meet these other races and wipe some of them out, as a scourge.
I think it would be neat to start with the original SC and show the Chenjesu event, the war, fast forward to SC2, show something of that. Have a narration telling us about those times, then cut into a super rewind, but this is how it started...well at least in dimension XYZ. Something about trying to achieve the same stability. The game can end with the comment that they are on their way to taking on the future threats of the universe.
Thank goodness for hyperspace compression
I do not get the removing of hyperspace either. The only people finding it frustrating are people with extreme ADD. Speaking as a programmer myself, that is the kind of excuse I give when I do not want to program something, or the excuse I make to meet a time line....
There are also the monthly updates in the founders vault. While it is not a daily thing, it share some information.
4-5 for me, I like me some education. Also, I like the music in the January pack.
" as the spice was offloaded into the refinery" - I detect someone around 40 that played Dune 2
I agree. I think I have made the same points somewhere too.
Anything coming down the pipe soon?
Count me in for real type planets as well. I am not a fan of bubbly cartoonish style. I like most of the ships to leek realish as well. I think non-realistic style lends itself to a younger demographic, and it is likely that most of the founders are not all that young.
I like that we still call them CD keys. The last CD I got with a game on it, was probably Command and Conquer (something or other); And this will be a digital download, sans optical medium.
What I would like with a mod tool is the ability to make a new campaign and perhaps the ability to add new ships+cut scenes, for that campaign. So that (not that I would want to) I could in theory make the SC2 campaign.
I was just thinking, it may be a neat mini-game thing to have a star control 1 kind of domination game, as a separate mode, time permitting
Reasonably active....how can I lurk in the shadows then?
If takes place as a different dimension in the multiverse, I gives the ability for a second story, in the future, of the dimensional wall breaking open and having a crossover story that ties in this prequel and the SC2 universe. This could be a very complicated and interesting story/couple of stories - along the lines of making the universe better in one of the dimensions and fixing another. This would also allow for crossover races in a future game. Just a thought
Adventure 1. Quest for Glory 2. Space Quest 3. Full Throttle 4. Grim Fandango 5. Beneath a Steel Sky RTS 1. Command & Conquer (C&C was meant to be Dune 3) 2. Dune 2 3. Warzone 2100 4. Homeworld 5. Starcraft 2 Simulation/Builder 1. Reunion 2. Evil Genius 3. Sim City 4. Dungeon Keeper 5. XCom/Breach 2 </p
I like the critters, but I am hoping (and I know it is only concept), that the planets will not look so cartoonish.
Lauren L - Had the best voice Amanda M - Had the best timing and emotion
Why not let us choose like in Star Control 3. You could go Iso or Top down. Iso makes it, for most people, very hard to aim.
