Definitely interested in beta testing chapter 1.

This post does a great job at conveying the exceptional immersion SC2 provided. Thanks for sharing it!
I never hesitated to destroy any Druuge ship I met in space though. Sometimes going way out of my way to make the kill.
Philosophically speaking, that's a horrific way to handle it You might be killing a handful of Druuge, but also dozens of slaves. One might argue you're putting them out of their misery, but that should be their choice
No way am I pre-ordering it. I won't get almost any use out of it near-term, so I've got better things to do with that much money. In the future, if the technology proves itself, I could see myself being interested if Star Citizen ships with OR support and if the price comes down. Count the "if"s. SCR- definite no. Negligible gameplay value, low player usage, excessive cost of extra development.
Winning or Losing a game should be subjective based on how you want to play. If I wanna be a saint then I should consider saving the universe and its inhabitants a Win, and destroying everyone and everything a Loss.
While entirely reasonable in some scenarios, this seems to defeat the goal of the narrative I expect, especially where we don't want to end the story with finality. What actual benefit do you believe more items would provide? Especially
However you slice and dice it, there is ALWAYS some level of farming and grinding in every game
I too reject this premise. Farming is generally a failure of game design (whether it's by design or not), not a requirement for an interesting crafting system. I'd also add that too many crafting systems aren't interesting (see TheEchoInside's comment listing examples). The trick is
It's nice to meet everyone. Thank you to Stardock for the invite and for the first November Founder's Vault Edition. The info* in there- specifically information on who's in the dev team- made me feel better about my decision to sign up. As mentioned in my survey, I'm a Star Citizen funder and my confidence in that project right now is somewhat less... Thraddash-ish ( what part of "just make a modern-day Privateer" did you not understand? ). &n
