I think whatever you choose to include in the teaser should at its core evoke what Star Control is, a bit of humor a sense of adventure/exploration and some truly scary feeling of things to come. Of course how you translate that is why you get paid the big bucks and why I am throwing money at my monitor saying, gimme now!
I was a big fan of Spore and after seeing the concept art I could not help but make that connection as well. I do like stylistically how Mass Effect handled Planetary discovery and scanning. Not so much the actual exploration mind you.
I second everything everyone else has already said. I personally would like to express my excitement to interact with not only the developers but others who have had there lives touched by this great game. I honestly never thought 20+ years later I would be apart of something like this and look forward to what the future will bring with this project, I am sure I can speak for everyone by just saying a giant, Thank You!
