Exactly. Atm most of the humor i see in the game is realy childish humor wich is a shame. SC2 did have a lot of humor, but it was mixed into a lot of serious ideas aswell, but at it seems Origins only has the humor so far, leaving the serious part aside. If this continues into the following chapters i realy fear the game will be labeled as a casual game instead of being a clever one. Hopefuly it will get better.

Not going to talk anymore about the whole landing situation. Been talked too much already by many people, some like, some dislike. I've been playtesting slowly and i have to say the ZOOM is Fine now. It's very very smooth and actualy seems quite inteligent to guess what i would like to see, it's nice enough for me if it goes live witout further changes. What i still don't like is the scale of the planets we land on compared to the lander. They are TINY (yes, eve
And what would people prefer? The game blocking you from landing until you get upgrades which means you'll have a safe landing? There was a debate on this several months back. It didn't change then, won't change now. Maybe its just that everyone isn't aware that upgrades will be available in game to make landing and planetside easier. SC2 let you go on to crazy difficult planets that you could die on, SCO is not different. It is
I've been unable to finish the little bit of game we have for two reasons. A. the camera, already talked about a lot. and B. the lander. Lander landing is terrible. The controls (at least on my keyboard) are bad. I don't feel like I have any control..I've tried a few times to play more and I just frustrated and turn it off after i run out of landers. It's not a good experience. And how the
Ok, so here comes by basic feedback after playing a few hours. The game feels like it has potential but it's still crude in the polish department. Music = Feels great. Congratulations. Quite immersive and realy points you into the right mood in a subtle way. Art Design = Not realy a fan of the cartoonish human characters but that's not realy important. I just wish that you didn't take the game into a "cartoon game" wich unfortunately it's close, but hopefuly the story pi
Hello all, my name is Arthur, from Portugal and i'm 38 atm. StarControl2 was probably the best game i've ever played and i'm realy thrilled to have another shot at something similar. Very strange that no other game was able to captivate me as much as SC2 in therms of exploration and story. Just got the founders pre-order, still browsing stuff around since it seems i'm kinda late to the party ;) Cheers
There will be a founder's edition. The exact date will be released in the future.
Cool, like i said in https://forums.stardock.com/451197/page/1/#3585254, i'm sure i'll pitch in if the ideas are imho on the right track.
Hello all. Hello Frogboy. Introductions are in order then, I'm a huge huge fan of starcontrol 1 & 2. I played SC3 but let's not talk about that now for a while :) StarControl 2 was beyond a shadow of a dougt THE game of my life. I played it with such eagerness that i have to say it's been the only game i've played to 100% perfection several times in my life. I've explored every planet in the she
