Stardock Support is usually very helpful. I once had two copies registered under two e-mails. I supplied the codes and explained my situation and they combined them all into one of the accounts. It worked out perfectly.
Usually, they are very helpful. I'm just now running into an issue where they're not answering a question (about if/when they will have an expansion pack available for a game they sell) but thi

Are you moving everything onto a computer that has the same OS as the previous one? Quite a while ago, I ran into an issue where myimpulse files would not transfer from one machine to another. Turns out that these files couldn't be transferred between WinXP (32-bit) and Vista (64-bit.) The exact quote: You can transfer archives from one PC to another. You need to archive on the same machine type as you are targeting. For example, you need to archive on Windows XP

It doesn't crash per se for me...all that happens i that the "DisciplesII (Ultimate)" tab appears in the task bar, and nothing else. The splash screen doesn't show up on my screen or anything. This is using Vista x64, and the latest version of Impulse to launch it.

So how do you get the medals to show up in your posts? I've earned several of these medals, but so far they haven't shown up at the bottom of any of my posts. They do appear in my profile when I log onto the Metaverse, though. Of course, now that I've said that, the medals will show up at the bottom of this post, and I'll look like an idiot.

On the colony lisitng screen (accessed by the rightmost button on the main UI) the Beta has a new "feature" that prevented me from purchasing ships by clicking on the name of the ship that the planet. Now instead of "Purchase" and "Done" the two buttons that show up are "Cancel" and "Done". I really don't like that change, as I now need to go into each individual planet's shipyard and purchase the ship that way. It's much more time consuming. Other than that and the "Sting not foun

Slightly off topic, but is a Parsec a "real World" unit of measurement? A Parsec is a real world unit of measurement. If I remember correctly, it's equal to about 3.26 Light Years, or a little under twenty trillion miles. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FFF394 class

I did it on a medium map. At the end of the game, it was just my custom race against the Altarians. They had a much larger chunk of the galaxy in terms of influence, but my tech lead was very large. We were both Saintly races, so he didn't do anything to stop me from completing the tech win.

I was wondering if there was a way to break up the enormous downloads over Stardock Central for those of us who are still stuck with Dial-Up. I was able to download the 200+ MB of tutorials by leaving the modem going overnight. I tried to download the Movies, only to find that these took up 551 MB, which would take well over one day at the 56K I'm stuck with. (No DSL or cable modems in my area. <img src="smiles/SadAngry.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmidd

I tried out the beta recently. So far, I'm very impressed. However, I had a problem with one of my colonies. I destroyed the Starport in a (failed) attempt to upgrade it. When I went to construct a new one, Starport did not show up on the building list. Is this supposed to be that way, or is this something that needs to be fixed? If it is supposed to be t
