A little complicated situation I have. I'm posting this for a friend who won't post because she thinks it won't help. So my friend lost her ICO password and has not been able to log in for months. She has repeatedly emailed that support@ironclad email for a password reset, but only got the generic automated response that did not actually have anything to do with passwords and no help. Is there some other email she can send to? Or at least someone who can help post here so she

I've had this problem with another game. Turns out the disk had a bad scratch, but not bad enough my Game Dr. couldn't fix after several run throughs. I believe your problem is with the disk its self having some sort of damage or is unclean given it happens during install, but I wouldn't rule out the drive it's in either. I suggest cleaning the disk and the drive and see if that works. Also, heres the tech support forum for Demigod: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/forum/526</
Take dance classes. What? They've done wonders for my social life (compared to before).
I've been wondering this as well. I delayed my purchase of PURE by a week because I wanted 20% off. Fortunetly, theres another game with a similiar saving at 20% that I haven't bought yet, so all is not yet lost.
*Bump* Would like at least an official acknowledgment of this issue, even if there's no promise for a quick change.
Now you gone and done it goombo! Now you've thrown rocks at the hornets' nest and they are starting to come after you! Luckily for me, I am considered one of the hornets who still gets the same regards as the rest even when I don't do anything. Nothing like a kudos for a job well done by others... if it's a job I didn't want in the first place. @Mudkip...: Where did you ever find that pic? That is so cute! In an ugly sort of way...
You don't actually read this forum much, do ya?
While I understand that the connectivity issues are top priority, it would be very helpful to us with this particular issue if we could get some official acknowledgement, even if it's just a "we're looking into this" post.
Oh sorry, I left out the part where it's another forum. My bad... [e digicons]:pout:[/e]
Giving mine to some friends online who will appreciate it. One'll already take it if no one else (by which I mean other friends, not lurkers or one-time posters) wants it.
I have a question, in the email I got, there is this: "To help encourage an active Demigod community, we will be occasionally be sending out additional coupons to active players of Demigod (people who play more than a couple of hours a week)." Is this for playing online only? Or open to us single players?
Is it just me, or is he getting more attention now that he's banned than before?
The 'word' "4CHAN" appears in the title. Sums it up for me.
I actually didn't notice that there were missing effects until I saw the video match with Frogboy posted today-ish. All the really pretty effects, like the particles on Torchbearer's staff and weapon shots, and Sedna's bramble sheild, are missing! I'm using a 7900GS with the latest drivers and tried setting all visuals to their absolute possible maximum.
I suggested a fairly easy way to solve the "immature" problem a couple months ago: a universal mute http://forums.demigodthegame.com/341129
98 percent of the people that have purchased this game are already bored or concerned about caring past tomorrow.
You know, 60% of all statistics are made up on the spot; 14% of people know that. Anyway, I guess I fall into that "2%" in your statistic. I love Demigod, but I also play a variety of games and genres at any one time, so I probably won't get bored with it anytime soon. *Edited for extra statistics
*Looks at the names of the companies reviewing* Hmm... all one's that I would not trust if they told me the sky was blue outside my window right now (which it is). And didn't Gamespot have a big controversy about accepting bribes for good reviews?
I wonder why the enemy doesn't reinforce his own fleet. AI?
It has, and yes it was the AI. I usually set up a few shipyards in the nearest system and do this. Granted, I shouldn't have to do that in order to kill a single starbase, but it's how I do it (works, but not nearly as well as TEC or Advent solutions).
Which he has deployed and you don't. Dunno if it can be
I read most of the first page (before it got completely side tracked) and the OP. I've encountered a Vasari Starbase (granted, with lvl 2 or 3 defense, not 4) and an enemy fleet before as Vasari and I didn't have a great deal of trouble killing it (though it coset me) using similiar tactics to what is already been said. I wear the enemy fleet down with lots of ships, reinforcing as fast as I can, and when his fleet is down, focus-fire on the base. With a frontal sheild, I flank it.</p
I'm just gonna throw my 2 cents in. The best way to fight piracy without DRM is to make games that are: WORTH BUYING (not an exact copy of another game), worth the pirce we pay (not paying $60 for 3 hours of gameplay; would for $4), are not released with more bugs then there are cockroaches, have developer/publisher support (minimum to iron out post release bugs and balance), and customers are treated like customers (not ignored). Hmm, I think Stardock fits this list very well.
To be accused of cheating is a testimate to one's skill. Also quite juvinile of the accuser.
ATTACK OF THE JOINED-TO-BARK BRIGADE! EVERYBODY RUN! *self edited for profanity
I've been using Fences for around a month though, and it is great, but not just for organizing; which was never a problem for me. When I play some games, they will periodically change my resolution just long enough to reset all my carefully placed icons, scrambling everything and messing up my order. With fences, they all stay in their little fences when that happens, and go back to their original places in the fences when the resolution goes back to my preference. This is software that I wou
My answer to the OP is that no, I am not kept away from MP by experienced players. I am kept away because in most of the matchups I've played in every game I've played online (and I used to be a hardcore MP only player) has been filled with abusive, repetitive and juvinile players whos attitude propblems ruins my enjoyment of the game. Now if there was a way to have a "blanket mute" option that severs all communication with other players (except maybe map pings), then I will go back online.</
Now that I was unaware of (all of it). Nice diagrams. Nothing like pictures to make skeptics like me understand more. I still have my doubts, but thats normal with everything for me. OK, I can't think of anything else unclear to me short of actual use. Thanks for being patient with us, as takashi so elegently labled us, narcissistic zealots.
